I was astounded as well as amazed when I saw my student with this. He and a friend killed the snake inside a forest after about 2hours of "battle " with the serpent.., can't imagine myself in their shoes... running away will be an understatement. good ol' NYSC days, had a swell time in ayede community, mopamuro local government area, kogi state.

I really don't get, people keep on killing these things, we shouldn't mek this thing extinct oohh... that will negatively affect us, in sane climes this should be protected, u rarely see such breed of snakes, not killing them recklessly...

This is naija.. Extinction or no extinction, any wild animal that over-stepped its boundary shld suffer the same fate.. Their abode is the forest/bush (as the case may be) and nt in d midst of humans..

I schooled in niger state, bida to be precise.. they are " blessed " with snakes. but trust students ...unless we didn't set eyes on that snake ,we kill it instantly.
