not my fault Russia cant keep to there own time line. Fact is they want to replace them.

The world flies 2,500 Hinds.....nothing changes that.

Russia said it was replacing MiG-29 long ago.....yet they have hundreds of them in frontline service, they just upgraded with vector thrust.

Your Gripens are the very basic C/d model, and you only have 9 pilots for 26 planes after 16 years.

How?

That pilot is flying under the UN not SAAF.

The reporter is telling his story of "forward intervention brigade"

Your pilot, your Rooivalk, your reporter. All SAAF.

jake of all trades master of none

why do you need a chopper for bombs, o I forgot the hind fights like a fixed wing aircraft.

and

with a tiny ammo load out and unable to switch ammo in flight

that's why Algeria asked SA to install SA avionics suite, TV, FLIR, etc on there hinds, to down grade them

what? stingers loved them

again Algeria wanted a down grade

Jack of all trades and master of all.

Stingers shot down old version 1980s Hind.

Current Hinds have flare dispensers and laser jammer, as well as laser/radar warning, plus heat signature suppressor.

The Hind's gating gun has tons of ammo. Bigger guns do not need lost of ammo, one short burst from a 30mm x 2 is death guaranteed.

Algeria was upgrading old Hinds purchased long ago, they just chose SA. Did India or Iraq come to you for Hind upgrades?

Turkey chose the A129 due to Nato pressure.

Excuses excuses for Rooivalk failure.

Apart from Turkey, is there no other export country in the world to buy Rooivalk?

No, they ordered 60 E/F Gripens.

Saab will be upgrading their C/D versions with the MS20 software including SAAF Gripens, this will enable them to use the advanced Meteor missile.

Just this week they've shown new upgrades to capabilities of the aircraft radar.

Sweden will be stuck with C/D versions for a long time, so upgrades will be offered equivalent in performance to the E/F versions.

No, country has SAAF Gripens.

cool cool cool cool cool cool

Dude Boeing bid their Super Cobra in 2007, Turkey instead chose the A129 designated the T129, they ordered 60 of them, there are only about 30 Cobras in service with the Turkish army, and 6 Super Cobras which they purchased in the 90s,and are replacing with the a129.

The Rooivalk beat bids including the Apache, SuperCobra, Eurocopter ect ect this is Fact!!

You type like you are draped in tears.

The Rooivalk only got there because the turks were offered full technology transfer, a transfer france ( the original makers) objected to.

Your French helicopter is no good.
