The request was made last month when some delegates from the UN visited president Goodluck in Aso rock. He decline the request and ordered them to channel their help to the resettling of displaced Nigerians affected by the insurgent group.

You are right, the US don't care about corruption or gay rights or human rights. As long as you are important to them they will look the other way like they are doing right now in Israel, Saudi Arabia and Egypt and Afghanistan. Nigeria is no longer important to the US.
