Ekiti is as bad as Ebonyi Mr man if not even better.
I hope you have been to eboyi to be entitled to assertion?
Every part of Nigeria is blessed, one way or another, but decades of bad governance has stifled economic growth in many a state.

Lagos is the big Apple, no doubt. But yorubas, especially non lagos natives should get over this superiority complex they showcase against non yorubas.

Diversity brings forth competitiveness, which drives growth.

this load of crap proves that you've never been to the east, which SW state are you talking about abeg? ekiti? ogun? abi na osun? wait na Ibadan you dey use dey make mouth? Oga let's face it apart from Lagos, most of the other SW states are nothing compared to ordinary ABA or even small umuahia. Yes the government in abia state is almost none existence, but the some of the places there is far more advanced than most SW states. everyone is just hailing SW because of one state Which is Lagos. majority of the region is under developed!!

Mr, read the 4th paragraph of my post before choking yourself with tribal sentiment. Structures alone does not make a nation. If Structures or edifices do, Britain and most EU countries would be nothing compare to Hong Kong and few others.

Let me give you a clue, Igbos are like a man with #100 who went to buy a house and exotic car out of that money but only to find it difficult to feed his children while South West are like a man with #100 who use #10 out of #100 for transport to tell his friend about investment and businesses in his neighbourhood; all in a bid to create a viable and enabling environment for his children to enjoy and protect his businesses in the future

Ok let me tell you a little about my visit to osuh ,nnewi LGA.My dad actually named me after his close ibo friend, Uchenna. D man almost gave his life for dad. Ibos r loyal tho.

D man's wife died N we had to travel to his place. I was amazed! Trust me, no village in any region of naija matches Igbo villages. I saw beautiful mansions that can b likened to those in abuja. They tar their roads themselves, never waiting on govt. Village roads o! I realised d owners of Bolton white, top rank, onyx hotels , prince n princess estate,r from that small village. I saw d house of d owner of efab N my tongue almost fell out, d ukahchukus hv their houses inside 1 compound, about 6 beautiful mansions.

Believe me, I didn't see 1 thatched house in dat village, don't know about other ibo villages. Some compounds have expensive cars parked inside, nobody driving them. Ibos gat money mehn!
Holding my family friend so close cos he has so much vision N biz ideas. He's always got ideas.
I respect Ibos so much.they hv d heart to make money N live well
Dat Efab guy is buying d whole of Abuja lands, developing estates lyk no tomorow

let me be honest with you, today if Igbos want to pack their Gh-must-go bags, no one will stop them if the Ijaws want to stay in Nigeria. If we let igbos go, so will the Ijaws and their oil grin Not really a secret. Igbos are non-consequential.

see what happens when that oil dries up. wink Our politicians, the ones that benefit from ND oil, make the decisions on who to let go. The common citizens don't.
Do you know that the igbos have a natural agricultural product aka natural resources that is far better that crude Oil and the mean price of a barrel of it per annum is far higher that crude?
The more you look the igbos the more you snare up yourself.
The igbos are creative, high perseverance, hate laziness, like providence and money though some love it which is bad.
Home sweet home is always the thought of an igbo man. You might see him struggling and patching in rooms in lagos or any other city, my lovely dear, please visit his (the igbo man's) place then you will understand the wisdom of the ants.
Their natural resources has more derivatives than crude oil and better... Why do you think they are crying to be left to go even if the others (south south) don't want to?
They believe so much in themselves just like the staff of moses was called a mere staff by others but it was a power... The little stones and catapult of david was nothing to others but it was the key to the door of liberation, the clothe of elisha on the hand of elijah in the presence or river jordan... Igbos are a blessing to Nigeria and so are other tribes so learn to respect them just as the igbos should also do to other tribes.
Why don't you meddle with them to discover the secret of such uniqueness they have then you'll overwrite your intelligence and heart with a positive momentum of great positivity.
Thanks and be blessed!

Sorry o
For those who say Lagos is the only developed state in SW
Are on ogogoro
Of the 7 richest city in Nigeria
3 are in SW
Our crown jewel Lagos is naturally number one with $90.5BN
Followed by Oyo-$30.2BN
and Ogun our new crown -$28.2BN

the richest from the east is Imo @ $16.2bn
So the next time we say SW is more developed than SE shut your stinky mouths
I bow for ND sha

By the time we compute our cocoa plantation j that generates $2bn in Ondo state coupled with bitumen Ondo will probably be number 4 m,Also Kwara was listed but geograpicallu its seen as North so in total 4 out of the 7 richest states are yoruba land so who are the people saying outside Lagos SW is poor envious people

That's quite ironic. Yorubas travel to igboland, return back to invest in Yorubaland.

Igbos travel to Yorubaland, never returns home. Their new generation of Igbos in Yorubaland speaks Yoruba, don't understand igbo.

Language proficiency is a component of cultural integration. I don't expect you to decipher that undecided
Listen to yourself, you want Nigeria to work, but you have vowed not to contribute to the development of any other part of Nigeria but the South west? #patriotism?
How did you know Igbos do not invest in igboland? Since you have said yorubas don't invest in igboland, who else is championing the growth there?

You are a profusely illogical being.

I quite agree. More people need to venture out into other parts of Nigeria and explore what we all have to offer. Some claim Yorubas are more accomodating and tolerant, while some claim igbos are more daring; thus the reason why they venture out of their comfort zone.
The truth is somewhere in the middle. As a Yoruba boy who grew up in Lagos in the 80s and 90s , most of my friends were igbos because they were my immediate neighbors. So I never quite understood the mistrust expressed by the tribalist. As two of the dominant tribes, we'll have to learn to understand and appreciate what we all bring to the table.
We are yet to appreciate the igbo/Yoruba combination, it is the engine that will propel the nation forward once we come to terms with our recent history.
