kernel504: Lol if the oil depletes, Igbos presence in Nigeria will be inconsequential. Not because of the tiny drops of oil in igboland. Igbos are stuck because if we let you go, we'll have to let Ijaws go. We can't have that now, can we? |

Kudos to the OP. Until people (especially Nigerians) start to make utterances based on their own personal findings and not the opinion of the crowd, this constant bashing of one tribe will never end. And the truth will never see light! 5 Likes |

Yorubas must validate Igbos existence before igbos feel a sense of "self". And be more specific, he was talking about Anambra state. So if it's like Lagos, why do Igbos troop to Yorubaland? Ans why do your houses look run-down anytime someone post pictures of Igboland? Just asking ni o The only reason why it seems like Lagos is better than Anambra is because they have access to the see. That's the simple truth. You can't compare Lagos market to that of Anambra 2 Likes |

The one key difference between Igbo Villages and Yoruba Villages are the buildings.. An Igbo Man would go and build a Killer Duplex in the village complete with Longspan Aluminium roof, Alumaco windows, steel doors, tiled and may even park a car there for good measure, but the Yoruba villages are mostly filled ancient houses. The first time I drove from Port Harcourt to Osogbo, it was like a shock. The Yorubas however may have big houses in the city o, compared to the Igbo man who may just be living in a modest bungalow in the city. The Igbos do this for the bragging rights and also out of fear of losing their priced assets again should another war break out like in 1967. But that not with standing, I love Yoruba parties.. The Igbos are good o, but leave it for the Owambe crew.. 4 Likes 1 Share |
