U are wrong... If there z even for glo 2 block it on android,, they wud av don dat alrealdy.. But blocking it means blocking Q n Z series of BB too..

It is well known that d Q n Z series of BB got an Android O.S,, unlike oda bb phones.. Dis is why normal data bundle works on them by default i.e power all apps (dis is diff 4 oda bb phone,, as normal data bundle wunt power d bbm except d Bis sub)
In nigeria,, only Glo got d BIS sub 4 Q n Z series,, oda netwrks dnt (maybe because dey see it as an android phone)..
So Glo BIS working on Q n Z series (wich got android on it) also means it will work on ordinary android phone if d Imei is tweaked to Q n Z series phone..
If Glo should decide to stop BIS on Q n Z series,, it automatically means u cnt use dem on oda Android too.. Glo must have had sleepless night on this.. No way they kill the PEST without destroying d HOST..!!
Other networks are wise,, they dnt have a BIS sub for Q n Z series... They rather come up with an wht dey call android/smartphone bundle eg
Airtel 4gb for 2k @2month
Airtel 9gb for 3k5 @3months
MTN night plan
Glo suprise bundle lik 4.5gb for 2k5,, 5gb for 10k etc

I think this stuff is a scam.i just called their customer care to find out why it doesn't work after trying it and they said it was only valid for those who got text messages and those messages were sent to users of "low data using" fones like the s40 series.So how did my friend using a galaxy grand get d text

Its public knowledge that for u to qualify, u need to have received 'the text'. Were u sent the text only to be given 260mb? For the guy claiming he received the text yet got only 260, let him show proof with screenshots, and out of the several people that has tried this, how come he's the only one that got the said 260mb, abi him na tuface

yeah, I think the op should have done that. Meanwhile I ain't sure subscribers can lose in anyway as there is a safety measure to protect them sort of. The code for the 260mb is different from the code for this new 1gb plan, so if u dont qualify rather than u been credited with 260mb, u get the ineligible response with ur airtime intact

I think its not all SIM that are eligible.

I've been on the glo N1000 for 3gB for Q5 for about 2months now and the network is terrible and fluctuates(even in front of glo hq in VI)i'll manage this etisalat plan at least let me have peace of mind

Same here, I recharged 1k and dial the code yesterday but got a reply that it is under processing and that I should wait for confirmation message... My 1k is still intact.

The whole 1gig for 1k is just a one time thing, you can't renew. So etisalat is still very expensive.

I tried it 2 days ago and it worked. I'm using it now. I went to their office for another complaint yesterday and saw where they wrote down all their data plans.

Following the 2gb plan was 3gb and 4gb, and so on. I think 3gb was for 4000 or so. But one thing I can remember is that comparing all of them based on data per price, the 2gb plan was better.
