How can red flags pull sb through?

"Red flags" are ambiguous and CANNOT when it comes to immigration issues be clearly defined.
Even in the face of ambiguous or seemingly true "red flags " so long such flags do not contravene USA immigration laws. what matters most is how you can be CONSISTENT in defending those lies/flags/stories/real life scenarios albeit true or false and the CONFIDENCE you back it up with portrays a good psyche that will make a good impression on paper to your interviewer and long run YOURSELF.

I have seen enuf to state the above

Darklight my man..I go with innovativeme's suggestion...work on your confidence and be calm when answering those questions as if you are hearing them for the first..Is late though you shd have lied abt your place of work since you are not submitting your personal SOA..you could have convinced him a little..if you have little savings in your account for the next interview...take it along and let the VO knows your dad is a major sponsor and that you will provide stipend since you have been working before now.

Won't they ask for something relating to his place of work? Like I'd card or statement of account or something?

pls I wish to say something, I stand to be corrected.....

It's been said that people with virgin passport are usually denied... well I doubt it..

it's been said that those going to Colleges are usually denied... well I doubt it... if you are going for Graduate studies... it's often a good one...

it's been said that most times people in their first time are usually denied... well I doubt...

All these applies to myself...

Just wanna say one thing... IT'S ONLY GOD WHOM WE SHOULD LOOK UP TO AT ALL TIMES

What do you mean by colleges? Do you mean community colleges e.g Farmervilla Community College or university colleges e.g CUNY Colleges?

Hey,
Young man your red flags were NOT what pulled you through.

But the CONSISTENCY in your story line and the CONFIDENCE that went with it.

. . . when you get here dont just throw those visa inteview "qualities" away, maximize them and you sure will do better than some distracted lot.

Thanks bro
Will keep that in mind

Where on this thread did you read about that?

Mr. You're just lucky, there is nothing exceptional in your case as another VO might land you a 214b, but VO's no be God. You failed to even prove to us you're a First Class material with your scanty transcript and Theology.

Madam, that is gone. Its better you work on getting things done the right way. Don't go and compound your problem, let him come here himself.

You have a point there. That is what a lot of people don't understand. You need to show progression. They don't like engineers working in a bank doesn't show any value for your career.

the greatest don dicapino

people will always give you advice based on the limitations of them exposure.... na them giv u money register for TOEFL ? GRE ? apply do sleepless night ask endless questions and now at this point you having a rethink..... i know of many success stories if you don't knw of... petroleum engineering might only seem a narrow end when done at B.sc level but witha base in mechanical engineering with your knowledge of machines, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics..the sky can only be ur footstool.

petroleum industry is not as narrow as you might take it to be...also remember that gas is the future...it drives lots of sectors...fracking technology is also there and other computer modifications and realisations to help in deep water wells, and for enhanced oil recovery. if you
allow me to go on and on and on...

Bro i don hear you.

i took my time to research and maybe if you don't know....gas is the future.....it also drives plants turbines and for energy generation. Nigerias gas reserves has not even been touched..we still dey flare gas... imo anambra ondo has large gas reserves....where is the expertise to make it commercial ?

This is just a summary of numerous potentials embedded in the world of petroleum...you can peruse spe.org and download some of them resources to have a firsthand knowledge of the field you about to venture into.. also not forgetting its the highest paying engineering.

As for the price of oil...its normal....it comes and goes not minding lots of folitics and vavanipulations of various communities.

Take time to critically peruse on any online resource about the world of petroleum ..... am sure those people advising you are not practicing engineers.

please be guided.
