What did you apply for?

If it's Civil Engineering, then OAU probably did not consider you to meet the DE student's requirement for it.

There is only one way to change your course, except of course the VC is your father's friend, like Dazzlemee. You wait till the end of 100L, buy a change of course form and apply.

I must warn though,transitioning to a course that is considered highly sought after is usually close to impossible if you don't know a very influential person like a professor. I heard most people start out at OAU with the mindset of changing to the courses they originally intended studying but end up graduating with the course they were given. The school has no chill. The grace of God is also very key.

If I may ask, what polytechnic are you transferring from and are you coming with an OND or HND and do you have at least an Upper Credit?

If you haven't acquired your HND, I advise you do so. You can always re-apply to other Federal universities or write UTME again if you are hell bent on OAU.

Loolz just assuming things I see . Well I don't know much about this change of course thing but from what I heard its really hard to get a good course except you write another jamb all together I think? My cousin tho is doing a change of course from industrial biology to medicine but shes about entering her 2nd year. Goodluck!

They removed their bank charges. You paid N3,090 only, right?

You're supposed to pay N3,090 + N350 = N3,440.

They deducted their bank charges from the N3,090 you paid that's why it's showing N2,740.

Now you'll have to go back to the bank with N700. You need to pay up the remaining N350, in doing so you'll pay another bank charge. N350 + N350 = N700.
