amahtrendy:I also needed answer to this house. I also Certified mine with a Notary Public and I will be applying with just my OLevel for like 3 Bsc in Rhein Waal University of Applied Sciences. Please is it a must to still take it to the German Embassy for certification? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Oye50(m): 2:21pm On May 06, 2015 |
Dahjhi:you don't need to go to the embassy for your certification. And going to the embassy doesn't make the certification more authentic than the one you do elsewhere, infact it doesn't boost your chances. All they need to know is if what you are sending is a true copy of the original. That's all. I did mine in an high court in ife for 100# per page and I was admitted to all the schools in germany that I applied. So best of luck to u bro |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Oye50(m): 2:27pm On May 06, 2015 |
For all those that intend enrolling in Goethe Institute, they already began classes for this session since 20th April and registration ends by May 8th. Also there are no morning classes available anymore. Just afternoon and evening classes. So hurry yl u can. Thanks |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 2:50pm On May 06, 2015 |
Dahjhi:Bros did you read the admission requirement for that school at all? You stand no chance with O level result for Bsc. Generally speaking for a Bsc. course you need 1 yr University transcript or HND transcript to be able to stand a chance with admission. Apart from that Rhine Waal requests for a minimum of 80 ibt TOEFL. Do you have that as well? It is clearly stated that they wont waiver on that. Please dont waste your money paying Uni Assist because your application must pass through them for a fee. @Oye50, you are not fully correct. With some schools it is clearly stated that the authentication / certification must come from the German Embassy in your home country. |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Oye50(m): 2:53pm On May 06, 2015 |
crowns2:ok then. That's the only difference, since they specify but if they don't, high court certification will do. Thanks for the indication though 1 Like |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 3:36pm On May 06, 2015 |
Dahjhi: The Arbitur is your SSCE plus that HND in your hand. Besides your grade must be high enough when converted to German scale. You want to take TOEFL in July . How do you now send the result across when the deadline is in July as well? Best thing is for you to write it earlier so you can first know if you scored up to 80 points. Then if you do, next is to apply and send all certified results, transcripts and any other requested document before the deadline which is 15th July. Its better to send it before July so you are sure it gets there on time. N.B You need to work on getting that transcript Bro. you cant escape it. have you applied for your certificates as well? Sorry bro i know getting your documents together for admission for German schools is expensive and tasking. 1 Like |

crowns2:This is where I get the problem. And was thinking if summer admission ends in July then I should put in for winter admission. And getting my original HND result will be too hard cus the body that organizes it here won't release it until 2017 although I have the statement result which I have certified with a notrary public. My Ssce is the only one I have the original cert. |

Dahjhi:Please Crowns2 kindly reply me with this handle Just for reasons |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 4:19pm On May 06, 2015 |
Fele1:You can try with the statement of result, it may be okay. You can mail the school if you have any further questions. Here is the link i got from Rhine Waal. You do know you have to send it through Uni Assist right? Which means you have to pay processing fees for your application. Dont sumbit originals o. Only certified copies. That all you need. Here: http://www.hochschule-rhein-waal.de/en/international/international-applicants/application-and-enrolment |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Fele1: 4:28pm On May 06, 2015 |
crowns2:thanks. Reading through and what Im seeing is that there won't be winter admission for the Bsc. Will have to check other schools I think |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 4:38pm On May 06, 2015 |
Fele1:Are you sure? all Bsc courses for Rhine Waal is winter only. Which course(s) were you planning on applying for? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Fele1: 5:07pm On May 06, 2015 |
crowns2:sorry I wanna say mean summer. That means if I didn't catch up with this July 15. There won't be another admission for around October like that. And I have some of the courses as bioengineering, Industrial Engineering in Rhein Waal. but am even seeing that Environmental Resource Management is not for Rhein Waaal But all the same its also for only winter semester. 1 Like |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 5:59pm On May 06, 2015 |
Fele1:Oh! do you mean that you want to apply for summer 2015/2016? Bsc courses in summer are few but you might be lucky to get something even though it may not be related to your HND course. Just use DAAD international programmes and filter. Don't feel too bad about Rhine Waal because if you are planning to hustle one Nairalander there said its a dry place in terms of jobs. |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Fele1: 6:06pm On May 06, 2015 |
crowns2:yes summer 2015/16 Environmental and Resource Management (BSc) is in Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg • Cottbus but also have only winter semester. Maybe I will have to fully prepare for next year then |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 6:21pm On May 06, 2015 |
Fele1:Okay but Bro don't put all your hope on one particular course or one particular school. So you dont end being disappointed. Expand your horizons. Make as many applications to as many courses and schools you qualify to apply for. Be flexible. The free Education in Germany is sought for by many other nationals even more qualified. Its highly competitive. Goodluck Bro. |

ogompaul:Go and register at Goethe, registration is closing finally by Friday. Its by far the best and world class. crowns2:Why TOEFL You should have gone for IELTS and be the steerer of your fate. But whichever way, you don't need to send notarized or certified copies or hardcopies of your Language proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS to uni assist. simply scan a soft copy clearly showing your exam/candidate/application number, they will have access to verify it themselves. Uni-assist are given access to this by the virtue of their trade. You can send them a mail in this regard if you still have doubts. |

amahtrendy:If it was sealed, stamped and signed with the words, "certified true copies" or with a related sentence and the seal bears a sign/emblem/coat of arm or similar drawings in it, then you are good to go. Eke40seven:Thanks Eke. There is a school I love so much. I met all the requirements too. I applied and was about sending when I discovered there are asking for 4 weeks pre study internship. Chai! Please do you have any idea about it? For Bsc, some requirements this schools are asking for its almost impossible. Imagine some asking for contract with a company throughout the duration of study. E remain to ask to bring our Gran papa bones na wa o. |
