I posted similar topic to lodge my complain last week and moderator hid my post and also issued me a week ban.

I'm not what one would call religious, nor am i an atheist. I have beliefs and am content with those beliefs, now i know that not every religious person out there is a fanatic who thinks everyone should believe the way they do, but i have heard stories about those who do and even come across a few on nairaland.

My question is simple WHY

Nairaland forum is supposed to be a forum where everyone would be free to have a faith different from others, if they so choose. I know there are several different religious on this forum, including but not limited to, christianity, islam, buddhism and judaism among others. If people can believe whatever they want why can't some accept that, even when they know there is no official national religion. Unfortunately, the only instance i've seen and heard of had to do with islam, imagine a moderator from islam section forcing islam on me by editing my profile and write "I believe that there is no god/God but allah and mohammad is his prophet " just because i wanted to join my fellow nairanlanders in sending condolence wishes to the late imam of abuja who just passed on. My question still go to seun , maclatunji and every muslims on NL. : why should others believe what you believe Why do you think you have to change someone's beliefs to match your own Who says your beliefs are the right ones Who said there's a right to believe in the first place Why do you move islam topics to the front page when other religions are not welcome on your thread What gives you the right to labelled me a muslim when i've made it clear that i don't want to hear it. Please i beg whoever involved in the name of your God, remove what you injected on my profile.

Kindly help me to beg your brother to remove the label off my profile. I'm not a muslim and it wouldn't speak well of me to ignore and move on.

I think i will have to deactivate my account if i get no response.
