3. Mig-23 v Mirage

O well done, a twin engined air-superiority fighter from the 1970's performed better than a single engined multi-role platform designed in the 1950's

The Mirages performed well against the MIG-23s what they needed was better missiles.

1. Russia's frontline tank today is the T-72, with it making up the majority of their tank forces

2. Citation needed for T-72 v Cheiftan

3. Citation needed for T-62 v Olifant

4. Citation for Mirage defeat in Angola

5.Hahaha, you dumb fvck, you dont know what the F-14 Phantom is?

6. Su-27 has not seen combat against western equipment

This guy claims to be a military researcher... but he thinks an F-14 is 4th gen bwa-hahahahahahahaha

F-14 is NOT Phantom, its Tomcat you dundeee grin grin You always need free education from a Nigerian military researcher grin grin

F-14 Tomcat is a 4th generation jet mumu....m0ron....mumu domingo grin grin

Fourth generation (1975-2005)

Fourth-generation designs are heavily influenced by lessons learned from the previous generation of combat aircraft. They include the Teen Series (F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-18) group of jet fighters.

much higher maneuverability due to relaxed stability, made possible by fly-by-wire flight control system
advances in digital computers and system integration techniques
system upgrades such as Active electronically scanned array, digital avionics buses and Infra-red search and track

Frontline tank is not determined by numbers, but by what leads your army into battle, T-90 leads Russian armour.

You said Su-27 has not see combat, so I proved you wrong, don't change story and say....against western aircraft.

You did not know Su-27 fought Badme war ......fool....that's why you ask for citation for basic information....mumu domingo grin grin

Welp, my bad. Been a long day.

F4 Phantom.

You should have guessed as much since I was referring to Iran's jets smashing Iraq's

Now, with regards to your trash:

1. T-72 is still the main Russian tank.

2. Su-27 has not seen combat against western powers. You said I must show you a western jet shooting one down, I said it has never fought a western jet.

Now, where are the rest of the citations you owe me?

1. T-72 defeated Chieftain tank

2. T-72's are normally upgraded with reactive armor and can be fitted with composite armor.
Not to mention that the T-72 remaind the backbone of Russia's MBT forces

3. Mig-23 v Mirage

O well done, a twin engined air-superiority fighter from the 1970's performed better than a single engined multi-role platform designed in the 1950's

Iranian F-14's smashed the Mig-23 in the Iraq-Iran war.

4. T62 v Olifant

5 F-15 v Su-27

Su-27 hasnt seen any combat.

Russian arms and equipment have been tested over and over, and their terrible quality is well documented. The 6-Day War, Yom Kippur, Gulf War 1, Gulf War 2, India v Pakistan the list is endless.

Good to know that someone is thinking beyond the 'oyel money'.
Why a country that is constructing hi-tech surveillance drones and hyper-space orbit satellites cannot build 4th generation fighter jets is a question that boggles the mind.Nigeria has the uncanny habit of being able to do huge things, yet lacking the will to set up the most basic innovations{not that a fighter jet is anywhere near basic, but still....I'm not impressed}.

I wonder why people keep saying American and European weapons technology is superior to that of Russia
.

The South-Africans are very delusional.

Massive mass media P.R by the American and british controlled media. The Americans have Fox, Time warner, and the Discovery channel churning out endless supplies of American MIC sponsored propaganda, and their news networks further pushing this utter lie. It sticks. The Americans have taking Joseph Goebbels art to a whole new level, and sure it works.

We've been at the receiving end of this propaganda on many occasions, with our most recent been the Nigerian offensive that has completely routed boko-haram. We saw the stages with which it played out.

There's no evidence American/ European systems are better that of Russians. Bringing in a coalition to defeat iraqi forces in the first gulf war isn't a sign or superiority, neither is the yum kippur war or the six day war.

The greatest tank ever built in human history is a Russian tank, the T-34.

The idea that the Americans trounced Russians system fielded by Arabs as been definitive evidence is just a farce. There's a difference between a Russian built tank, fielded by the Russian Army, as against a Russian built system fielded by foreigners. The T-34 proves this.

Outcomes would be very different if Ukrainians armed with American Abrams tanks square off against Russian Army T-90's/ T-72B3's . It would be a decisive victory for the Russian Army.

Look at the absurdity of the F-35.

It is supposed to be an affordable fighter but it costs $135 million a pop for a unit, and requires a large ground crew to attend to it.

It is supposed to be a CAS for marines but you'll be lucky to get over 1 hour 30 mins of loiter from the fighter.

It is supposed to be stealth but an obsolete yougoslav ADS shot down a top of the range "lockheed martin" F117.

It promises stealth, yet the fighter can be detected in radars built in 1942.

It promises stealth, but can't keep it's supposed stealth paint scheme on.

It is a dog fighter, that cannot dog fight because of it short wing.

It's payload is poor!

* The Norwegians were bullied and the swedes threatened into choosing the F-35 over the Gripen NG. The U.S state department threatened to withhold vital parts from Saab(sweden) in that fighter contest.

Yet you were saying its 125mm gun put it above western tanks.

1. We don't know its armour: we can't compare.

2. We don't know its engine type: we can't compare.

There's so much we don't yet about the T-14 to reach conclusions.

It's larger Ammo velocity is just one of it's Advantages. There's also it's Afganit system.

1, it's Armour is top notch, same as the engine.

From what we already know on the T-14, it is a much better Tank than any western nation currently has.

Because we all know the capabilities of the F35, F22 and Rafael

We dont know the capabilities of the T-14

And the person who wrote this source of yours clearly knows nothing about MBTs - as there are currently 20 or so Third Generation tank designs as well as a further 10 or so 3+ Generation MBT's

T-14 is simply a 3+ Gen MBT - same as the Leo2A7, Type 99, Merk 4, K2 and Type 10.

We know nothing on the capabilities of the F-35, okay...... we know the F-35 is a Trillion dollar turkey, the F-22 is an over-priced turkey and the Rafale, well......... bombing countries with no Air defence systems isn't what anyone would ordinarily classify as top draw.

We know some of the capabilities of the T-14 to make sound analysis of what the Tank is going to be.

The T-90 is a 3rd generation Tank, the T-14 is 5th generation.

The tank’s main armament is the 2A82 125-mm smoothbore cannon, capable of firing high-powered munitions, including armor-piercing discarding sabot, guided missile, shaped-charge, and other types of munitions. The T-14 is equipped with the Chelyabinsk A-85-3A X-diesel engine capable of producing up to 1500 hp. It also has a tank information control system (TICS) that monitors all assemblies and components, diagnoses malfunctions, and controls onboard systems.

the active defense system deserves special attention. It is an individual anti-missile and anti-projectile tank defense system, supposedly capable of intercepting any type of anti-tank ammunition.

“It defends the vehicle from strikes, including those from the air. Thus, even the most modern Apache helicopter will not have a 100 percent chance of destroying a T-14 with its missiles. Active defense is situated along the entire perimeter of the turret at various levels, which ensures complete protection of the tank’s most important elements,” according to the FSMO report.

Fifth-generation fighters are already flying, but only second-generation tanks are in the inventories throughout the entire world. So the Armata will become the first series-produced third-generation tank
Theres still nothing that sets it apart, Hell even the Olifant can be fitted with a active defence system like the mongoose.

You don't need citations posted for you unless you are have down's syndrome and born a m0ron and cannot use google search engine without an online tutorial demo user guide/manual.

Russia's frontline tank today for conventional war is T-90 not T-72.

T-72 Vs Chieftain Iran -Iraq war

T-62 Vs Centurion/Olifant Angolan war

Mirage F1 is not a 1950s aircraft, it's same 1970s generation with MiG-23 that defeated it in Angola.

F-14 is 4th generation jet, MiG-23 is 3rd generation....exactly my point....generation gap mismatch,not technical superiority....proved me right

Did you see the part of your post that has large fonts? Su-27 has not seen any combat you claim? Fool grin grin

Su-27 defeated MiG-29 in Ethiopia Vs Eritrea war, you just proved that your entire post/comment is rubbish, m0ron grin grin
