Soyinka is one of the few men I respect in this slave camp created by the brutish British!

When I saw the story of the uncultured words about Igbos and how they vote, attributed to him I didnt know what to make of it.
As a matter of fact, I avoided that thread and never made any comment!

Time has passed and my cautious approach paid off!
One lesson we need to learn as humans is this: we should never be quick to judgment.

Furthermore this also proves it is not everything we read from the media that is true.
Those people are manipulative!

They demonised Jonathan and cerated a superman out of Buhari.
"CHANGE" has come, but Buhari is crying that expectations are too high!
He should not blame Nigerians but hold the media responsible.

One last word to my people!
We must not allow the primitive mentality of some people in this slave camp to override our sense of responsibility.
We are not barbaric, do not slaughter people for the fun it and are peace makers.

I hereby call on all patriots who wish to see our freedom from this slavery imposed upon us by slave traders to continue to work hard without violence. One thing is sure: our freedom!

As for Wole, we must not forget he man went to jail in Nigeria because of his understanding and support for Biafra!

Anyway, on behalf of all Igbos who vetted their anger against him with caution, I here tender and unreserved apology!

The slave camp you are referring to, I believe only you and your family live in it. I don't and my friends and family don't.

Thanks and have a lovely day in your slave camp.

Nwa nna, perhaps you are not aware that Nigeria was created by slave traders!
Our lands, our rights and freedom was taken by the white witch called Luggard!
The slaughtering of the innocent in Nigeria will continue unabated as the nationalities illegally and wickedly forced into "ONE", struggle for supremacies.

The Igbo Nation has been bleeding and will continue to bleed for two major reasons:

1. We are not as violent and primitive like some other nationals
2. the Ignorance and shortsightedness of gentlemen like your self!

Cheers nwanne!

I'm neither ignorant or shortsighted, and certainly not a slave or living in a slave camp. If you are one and living in a slave camp, be sure to be specific in stating same as you write and not make generalisations.

Thanks.

The Yoruba bastards who make the comment should apologize to Soyinka and not Igbos.

When you participate in a mob action only to discover the victim was innocent!
It is excepted that you acknowledge your mistake.

The one who raised false alarm is guilty but also the one who acted on the false alarm without caution is equally guilty!

Acknowledging you were led into a deception does not remove anything from you.
Like I said, we must not the crude way of the peoples of Nigeria!
We are more matured than that!

The slave camp is not Nairaland bro!

The slave camp is what you call your country!
It is Nigeria!

What is Nigeria?

“Since 1914 the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country, but the Nigerian people themselves are historically different in their backgrounds, in their religious beliefs and customs and do not show themselves any signs of willingness to unite … Nigerian unity is only a British invention” – Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, 1948.

“Nigeria is not a nation. It is a mere geographical expression. There are no ‘Nigerians’ in the same sense as there are ‘English,’ ‘Welsh,’ or ‘French,’ The word ‘Nigeria’ is a mere distinctive appellation to distinguish those who live within the boundaries of Nigeria and those who do not” - Chief Obafemi Awolowo, 1947.

“It is better for us and many admirers abroad that we should disintegrate in peace and not in pieces. Should the politicians fail to heed the warning, then I will venture the prediction that the experience of the Democratic Republic of Congo will be a child’s play if it ever comes to our turn to play such a tragic role” - Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, 1964.

It is then obvious that you are oblivious of your environment sir!
Nigeria is a productive of slavery!

There are three levels of slavery bro!

1. You kidnap or buy the victim, take him to your domain, change his name and batter him to submission. (many of our people were taking away)
2. You travel to the victims domain, subdue him in his domain, take over his lands and rights, change his name and govern him there. (That was how Nigeria was born)
3. You stay in your domain and manipulate the mentality of the victim though he is still in his domain. In that case, the victim will never know he is a slave.

Nigeria is a slave camp created by slave masters to exploit Africa!
Too painful some have eyes but cant see.

No sir, Nairaland is not a true representation of Nigeria.
It is a virtual space where Nigerians express themselves.

With click of a button, Nairaland can disappear forever!

Bulls Eye op! Bulls Eye.

You right on the money i tell ya

The problem of that cesspit (slave camp) is due to a faulty political structure that was set up by winners of the civil war to exploit the resources of the country for personal benefit. Imagine a situation where every industry in the country is run down, because some feel it is easier to make a sloven billion or two from oil blocks in a life of sleaze and extortion enforced with state terror.

They grab you by the balls and the nation by the jugular; they actively work to entrench chaos, because the ability to organise is the ability develop and the ability to resist.

In a normal country, no one would even dream to exist as an evil parasite on their own people. For this, we blame Lugard, an evil being who brought strange bed fellows together for reasons of extortion, without as much as getting them to sign a contract of belonging.

That there is a summary of the problem of the "slave camp"

In the light of soyinka's press statement denying making those unsavory statements, I hereby apologize to Prof Wole Soyinka for the Vituperation on his person. U still have my respect, especially when I remember ur biafra ordeal. Do forgive n move on, the cable news and all paid media agents trying hard to cause disaffection will receive their rewards in due time.

For those yoloba unrepentant tribalistic scums that cheered on, I have no apology. If u insult my tribe I will give u triple doze.

Peace

Ok here is my reason dear,
That comment was about the election and how the Igbos voted!!!!

Those who manipulated Soyinka's name did it because Nigeria is a slave camp where slaves fight for supremacies!

While we are discussing talking about verbal abuses, the herdsmen are planning for their next attack!
My sis, what can you and Nigeria do to stop them?

You are being clever and mischievous with your quotes above? Why did you quote Tafa Balewa and Awo pre independence and you quote Zik post independence.

Pre-independence, the north did not not want one Nigeria, they wanted to stay on their own, the South west were not so commited to one Nigeria, they were ready to go along with whichever way it went. It was the Igbos that was obsessed with one Nigeria, they promoted one Nigeria. This was done because they felt that the British would hand over power to them, because they see themselves as being more educated and advanced. It was until after, they lost out in the power play and power was handed over to the north that the Igbos and Zik started singing a new tune. They started opposing one Nigeria. But when Ironsi took over power in 1966, he destroyed even the loose confederacy the British left and imposed a unitary one Nigeria. We did not hear complaints from Zik and the igbos then.

So this "slave camp" was a creation of the British in concert with the Igbos.

Bros, stop playing with words. Nairaland is a virtual space without boundaries.
Nigeria has boundaries.

Nairaland is owned my Mr. Seun!
It is his property!

You cannot disintegrate Nairaland because it is solely owned by an individual.
And I have said bro, Nairaland is not only a virtual platform where Nigerians come to express themselves.
It is not even a virtual Nigeria.

So let me understand this; Soyinka is in need of an apology from faceless commentators who have been nurtured on a diet of hate?
Who gives a rats ar#se whether they apologise or not?

You clearly have not been paying attention to all the vitriol packaged and sent across to Wole Soyinka, by the usual suspects, during the course of Jonathan's reign.

Do you want me to dig up threads which show the unbroken sanctimony of the same creeeeetins getting bent out of shape, here?

You have even buttressed my points the more.
As far as I am concerned, it does not matter whether the opinions were expressed before, during or after.
Perhaps, the opinion expressed before gives a true shape of things.

So with sincere apologies, I withdraw Zik's opinion because of its obvious bias.

Now where does that leave us?

What Awo and Abubukar said are present day realities!!
It is our responsibility to solve the problem for the sake of tomorrow.

I wish you well.

I choose my words and i try not be carried away by emotions!

I ignored you post because rather being objective, you chose to romance your sentiments!
You feel it is about me and my person and that is why you could the category I belong to.

I will answer you!

The slave traders came, took my rights and my lands.
They forcefully changed my nationality and called me Nigerian.

that is the level 2 of slavery!

Problem is this, many are in the same fate with me, but they are blind to the truth!

I have a choice to make and I have made it.
I am not Nigerian because Nigeria means nothing but slavery!

That does not mean you cant be Nigeria, it is not actually my business.

So what do we do?

Actually, we cant help ourselves. It is that obvious!
Yet I know that even Benue were to be in a different country, some herdsmen from another country cannot just cross border, raise down communities and get away with it.

As for Igbos and where ever they chose to live, every man has a choice.

Yet, I want to note that citizens of different countries live in other countries.
Whenever we get our Independence and you wish to eject Biafrans from your nation, you wont be the first to do such!
South Africa is currently killing foreigners.
I am concerned about that, sir, but I am actually more concerned that Nigerians are being killed in their homes by fellow Nigerians.
