Nope, it was smooth, less than 5mins,maybe cos I did around 2am.

Nope my phone is not rooted and I don't know what lollypop is either. I got a notification for for an update and I followed the instructions.... If it helps there was nothing like lollypop on the screen when I was updating it.

If your phone is not rooted, go ahead and root. But if it's rooted, you have two options.
1. Unroot and update. when you're done, root the device again.

2. Get cwm backup and root. If it bricks, use your cwm backup to restore.

You mustn't update. Its optional, besides the update isn't bringing anything much.

Rooting is just like unlocking special options in the phone. Its not really necessary, but we guys like entering special modes on our phones, hence the rooting.

This same thing happened to me... Have u gotten a fix? Did u change your launcher? Cos that's maybe what I'm thinking caused it.

Just got the phone and rooted. Real cool phone. I can't change the IMEI with mobile uncle however, pls can anyone drop another route to changing it. Thanks

You can change the imei with mobile uncle. when you get to Phone 2, it will show At+. Put a space between AT and the +,then go between the "" and put the imei.
