fazo14: Ok good, can you list the documents you submitted for your first application so as to see what you need to add or remove for next application? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by girlfio: 8:44pm On May 02, 2015 |
fazo14: As long as you both meet the requirements for a spouse visa, it should be ok. Since you have been refused under a 320 ruling, they are likely to scrutinise any future applications. You will therefore have to make sure all necessary paperwork is in order. Details of the requirements are on the UKBA website. There's also alot of information on this forum that will help you. There's always hope but you just have to be ready to make it difficult for them to say no. The only way to do that is to first make sure that you meet all of the spouse visa requirements, then do everything you can to evidence it. |

fazo14: You need to add a lot more to that list..... Marriage certificate Pictures..wedding pictures and pictures before wedding Means of communication between two of you....emails, phone call history, chats(bbm, whatsapp, viber,Facebook) whichever one you use. His payslips(6months), his bank statement and letter from his company. Tenancy agreement or mortgage paper Your degree certificate Any evidence of financial support (western union, money gram or bank transfer) A letter explaining your immigration records from 2012 when you were refused a visa to court cases and their outcomes(this is important) Don't forget to acknowledge previous immigration offences and apologies for it. He will be submitting his own documents from the UK while you submit yours from Nigeria. Like girlfio said you need to cover all aspects to avoid giving them any reason to deny you again. Don't forget NHS fees, you need to pay that...I think it's about £200 1 Like |

@justwise, not been able to submit cuz spouse is self employed and the financial requirement states that 12 month gross income it must be but the account spouse wants to use was just opened about August last year. Was advised to wait till when spouse gets it and that will be about September. The question now can renew my visit visa for 5 years and when spouse gets it's all sorted, I will return to apply... What is your advice? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by justwise(m): 7:16am On May 08, 2015 |
nma01: Good decision to wait until you get the whole documents ready. Requirements for visiting visa is slightly different. Do you work in Nigeria? |

justwise: Hi Justwise, https://www.immigration-health-surcharge.service.gov.uk/checker/Joining I just checked the above link with regards to the NHS surcharge, when applying, which 'visa route' do we have to choose in the section - 'About the person you are joining in the UK'. The partner is a UK National, applicant based in Lagos but the link is asking for the 'expiration date of the visa' of the UK National. Could you please check and advise which option to choose? Thanks. |

phaara: Have you thought about the option of your visiting visa not granted and you submit month(s) later a settlement visa application? Don't over complicate matters for yourself. NB: Patience is a virtue!!!! |
