oga, stop claiming what you are not. the Niger delta crisis problems is not secret. everyone knew the level of sabotage the army faced then and they still faced it in the north until the saboteurs were weeded out and court marshalled.

you don't sound like an experienced militant. i've met them and you don't sound like one. period. #faker

that is why people like you keep being stupid!!! u dont knw anything about we niger-deltans!! just keep ur silly mouth shut....we embraced peace and let the pipeline be but look at the economy situation now, it's worst than when militancy was still existing...

If you are so innovative why arent you able to strap a d30 onto a truck?

Nigeria is decades behind south africa by any standard of innovation

We build sattelites why would we need to strap D-30's to trucks? undecided undecided

The white mostly Afrikanner industry is ahead of Nigeria due to hundreds of years of unhindered support from the Brits/french/israelis and europeans.

your have successfully killed the relevance of source;.. and since you have the reputation of disputing valid links and sources with lame tact, you shall have no more source for the time being.

HERE ARE THE FACTS: The SANDF is recruiting now and the quest for skilled personell is high on their list.

the SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT WENT TO ANGOLA somewhere this year AND ACKNOLEDGED ANGOLA'S HEROICS IN THE WAY.

you can consult your government archives now
If they are facts as you claim then your citations should be unassailable

So provide them

And yet south africa - as a nation- is far more innovative than nigeria

And yet the facts are this:

1. Restarting Rooivalk production is being seriously considered

2. SAAF has a minimum of 14 Gripen pilots. We are also outfitting the Gripen with a suite of indigenous weapons systems

3. Project Biro is in its closing stages. Tenders for 3 frigate sized OPVs will be announced after june 30

4. Nigeria orderd less than 40 helicopters - the majority of which are based on an utterly obsolete system that the Russians are in the process of retiring

So, little black boy - how does it feel having a 3rd world airforce composed of new helicopters that manage to be obsolete?

You wanna talk about how we roll?

You wanted new jets - you got 12 ancient F7s

We bough over 50 - including one of the most advanced fighters in Africa

You wanted to grow your heli-lift and you get less than 40 obsolete platforms

We wanted to do the same - we upgrade and purchase over 90 helicopters

You wanted to grow your navy - you got some ancient donated cutters and 2 cheap gunboats

We wanted to grow our navy - we got 4 of the most advances frigates in africa (at that time) and 3 submarines

You wanted to grow your armies armored capabilities - you get (a maximum of) 56 obsolete t72s and 6 or so obsolete btr-4s

We got 236 of the most advaced IFVs in Africa

You are nothing compared to us, never have been and never will be. You are simply too poor.

1. You have 10 half-french attack Helicopters, nothing is been seriously considered. Your project biro was seriously considered.......... 23 years later, no project biro.

2. You have 9 Gripen pilots for 26 planes after 16 years, Shame!!!!

3. 23 years and counting....... i'll be keeping numbers.

4. Nigeria bought 40 of some of the world's most advanced, vastly operated attack Helicopters. That's how we roll mixed race pig.

5. You bought 26 Fighter planes, and can only raise 9 pilots for your fleet. Bravo!!

6. You only have 10 half-french obsolete helicopters not even the SAAF wants, in service.

7. We grew an Navy that includes over 300 crafts, 2 stealth OPV's, and long endurance cutters and Helicopters. That's how to grow a Navy which already includes a Frigate, 4 Corvettes and 6 missile crafts.

8. We procured over 150 tanks, IFV's, over 300 MRAPS, 10 CH-3A's as a basic stop grap measure...... Army fleet recapitalization exercise would be mammoth in size.

9. You only have 5 patria IFV's in service. The SANDF is a poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly skilled force.

The Nigerian Army is on a whole nother level.

1. And yet, in reality, Denel and the SANDF are discussing an upgrade to existing platforms and are engaging partners in the long term of objective of restarting production. This is not opinion. This is fact
1a. Project Biro tenders will be released after June 30th. This is not opinion. This is fact

2. Realistic number is 14 Gripen pilots - for a platform that is not fully operational yet.

3. Project Biro has been shelved for the majority of those years and was only re-opened recently when the need for OPV's arose. This is not opinion. This is fact.

4. Hind is advanced? How?

5. 14 Pilots currently, more and more each year.

6. SAAF purchased or upgraded over 90 helicopters under the Arms deal. This is not opinion. This is fact.

7. Nigerian navy has no operational missile armed warships. Your biggest operational vessels are over 50 years old. You dont have a navy - you have a coast guard. Again, this is not opinion. This is fact

8. You orderd 56 tanks and 198 MRAPS. This is not opinion - this is fact

9. 236 Patria IFV's ordered and to be built in South Africa with South African components and design. This is not opinion. This is fact
9a. The average SANDF soldier spends twice as long in training, has access to more advanced training equipment and has three times the ammount of money spent on him than the average Nigerian soldier. This is not opinion. This is fact.

Your army is a mismatched collection of cold war relics that had to rely on mercenaries to beat boko haram

Your airforce is a mismatched collection of cold war relics - the majority of which is un-airworthy

Your navy is not a navy but a coast guard

Your problem, not mine.

A country where 5% of the population runs 90% of the economy. On the other hand, Nigeria runs a federation, with each state having an independent budget, able to generate it's own wealth, seperate from the Federal government.

The Nigerian economy is the largest in Africa, the most sophisticated, the most diversified economy in Africa. Nigerian companies dominate the African continent.

Nigeria is on path to become Africa's only super-power. We have an insurgency we have dealth considerably with. Turkey, Europe's 6th largest economy has been fighting an insurgency for 50 years and counting, India has the world's 4th largest military, but they've been fighting an insurgency for over 20 years, Spain only got reprieve after a political settlement with ETA, the Brits only came to a political settlement after 27years of fighting. The U.S, the world's only super-power has been engaged in insurgencies for over 20 years.

Nigeria with Africa's largest economy is the only politically and economically relevant country on the African continent.

Soweto r3tard!

SAAF isn't getting anymore Half-french Helicopters, if you were, you won't have only 10 in active service.

When Nigerian went to the market to purchase Helicopters, Africa felt it. 40 attack/Transport Helicopters in all, excluding up-grades done to NAF super-Puma's.

-12 MI-35M and 12 MI-171sh Terminator

-At least 8 MI-24v Helicopters and MI-17 from ukraine

-12 MI-35p from belarus.

-At leat 8 Gazelle Helicopters for Army Air corps.

* drones and additional survelliance planes not added.

* watch this space, the Nigerian Army Air corps is seriously considering the TAI T129 ATAK Helicopter.

This is how we ball bi.tch !! cool cool cool

Yes, I know how the SAAF spent money on jets it cannot afford, it cannot fly and cannot keep in the air. 9 pilots in 16 years isn't actually a stellar record.

Well honestly speaking, when it comes to Radar and Air defense I give it to the Russians, But Western Jets have almost always proven to be Superior when it comes to Actual Combat, the F-15 is probably the greatest Fighter jet to ever exist when you consider its incredible Combat Record no Russian Fighter jet comes close to it.

Plus the First Jet Fighter Ace was an American.
