Ok on a personal basis,when do you figure we will be contact. The wait for this list was an ardious one. Hope they won't make us have to wait so long again.

President Jonathan came just to embezzle, looting money and add to Nigerians` problem. Since he came on board, he promised Nigerians that he will create more jobs for the people. this man had never created any job since he resumed in office. I want to congratulate all those that finally made it,though I applied I wasn't even shortlisted for CBT,not that interested though. Being part of only 461 final shortlist is a testimony for people that made it. We all know that federal jobs in Nigeria is always an in-house,man-know-man thingy but the Presidency allowed us to even smell it and some people got lucky without knowing a soul. Congrats! To people sulking,better opportunities ahead.Its not over until its over,our time too will come.I celebrate with the new FAAN officers!

I was shortlisted and didn't see any messages for aptitude test. people that finally shortlisted for employment should disregard it. is a computer error

Candidates meeting any of the following criteria are disqualified despite their total score:

Candidates who are over the age limit.
Candidates who have highest educational qualification that is higher or lower than that established for the position.
Candidates whose course of study does not match the required course of study as advertiseA candidate’s Total Score is derived from the weighting of his/her scores of Aptitude Test, Physical Fitness Test, Oral Interview, Height, Age, Educational Qualification, and Experience as detailed in the requirements for the various jobs. In addition, each candidate’s credentials were reviewed.
The Selection is impacted by the Federal Character Spread of the current Nominal Roll in faan

The final selection takes into account the current staff distribution in the nominal roll. Please note that there is no selection from Kogi State. This is in compliance with Federal Character Commission regulations to address over-representation of Kogi indigenes in the current faan Nominal Roll as shown in the Nominal Roll analysis available.
Some States' quota are yet to be filled. This will be addressed in the 2nd stage of the recruitment process. The strategy for recruiting the remaining positions to make up for the shortfall in qualified candidates for the States that are yet to make up their quota is as follows:
Compilation of a supplementary list of applicants from the hardcopy applications submitted at the Human Resources offices/Liaison office in February and March 2015.
This pool of applicants will be contacted for tests/interviews soon.
The process will be guided by the FCC spread contained in Federal Character Spread Analysis.
ALL SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THE DATES TO PRESENT THEMSELVES FOR DOCUMENTATION AND FURTHER PROCESSING AT THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, faan HEADQUARTER’S LAGOS THROUGH PUBLICATION IN THE NATIONAL NEWSPAPERS AND ON THE WEBSITE.

Oga, ask the person I quoted. He's thanking God 2 days after that's why I'm confused. so I'm asking him if a new list came out. Cause speculations were rife that a new list will be released.

well bro, i can't really say when exactly we will be contacted, but i sure pray it won't be as long as when we waited for the list... i don't really know whether FAAN will make us wait till the second recruitment is over before they will now move all of us shortlisted both new and old for documentation and then training (it is plausible though) all the same God is faithful!

For those who did not make it this time, cheer up. Our time will come. For many, the reason we were not shortlisted is the Federal Character principle and as long as that principle remains in our laws, there would always be reasons for people to feel undercut or shortchanged. I'm just encouraging us all not to beef anyone but instead to use any opportunity we get to make the government scrap the FC principle. Imagine that you scored 96% but because you're from a certain part of the country which already has a certain number of workers in the organization, you're rejected and the job is given to someone who scored 60% or even less from another part of the country. But we do the same tests, are scored with the same marking scheme, pay the same tax and utility rates, are expected to develop ourselves BY OURSELVES, etc. That's what the FCP does and that's why Nigeria has not progressed better than it has. That's why no one was taken from Kogi, 5 were taken from Imo, 10 from some other states. Remember catchment areas in university admissions? Anyway, congrats to those who are from the right parts of the country and those lucky few from the "wrong" parts. We are supposed to be one Nigeria with equal rights and opportunities.

E no pass to begin gather start-up money na. Accommodation incase you're posted away from your location, wardrobe upgrade, etc. Basically to prepare for relocation cos the free time left started running-out once that list was released.

Abi? Makes sense. After training comes posting sha. I don't think the delay will exceed 2 weeks max.

I don't know the exact scale but the level of the post you applied for was stated from the beginning. GL 08 = Grade level 8, GL 06= Grade level 6 and so on. E.g: DMOII (GL -08).

FAAN is an Authority. It generates it`s own income and foots all it bills before remitting profit to the FG. If FAAN has the constitutional mandate to do absolutely anything it wants. So it`s not actually up to the FG as your salary doesn't directly from them.

Imagine, no vex bros but this ur thinking is poverty related, how on earth do u think that FAAN will give 500 people 400k to share, instead they give u nothing, the amount is even small compared to what other coys give including banks, if u are made to work apart from ur state of residence, they will foot ur accomodation to a point till u get a place, that is if they dnt have staff quarters in that state
