Somewhere between 5:15pm and maybe 5:45pm yesterday I received some good ol'bashing from Mr Market.
I had no idea about some crazy meeting in Europe about Greece, and the news conference that followed.
My EUR/JPY trade spiked to hell, took me out for a loss of about $600, and then returned to exactly where I wanted it!
Just simply crazy. Well, I'm on OPERATION RECOVERY right now. Going pretty well so far.
Selling GBPUSD right now. Will be back a bit later in the day for update on trades.

OPERATION RECOVERY COMPLETED!

Now, let the day's work begin.

Gonna sit back now and wait for an opportunity. Just like a hungry lion in the jungle scoping the spot out for its prey, I am looking at this forex market with its diverse currency pairs like a herd of sheep. I can sense vulnerability when I see one. I can sniff weakness from miles away! And at the opportune moment, I will sneak up on my prey and grab it by the throat. I will hold on to that throat and gradually choke the life out of it into my profit pips. It may kick and fight back - I have my stop loss. If it hurts me, I'll let it be and live to hunt/fight another day. But if I survive its kicks and it doesn't hit my stop loss, I will maintain that hold until it is dead. It may take my whole day. It may take a few minutes. All that matters is I am the lion in this jungle and I am hell bent on feeding everyday to my satisfaction.

So, the hunting is recharged for slaughter. Here we go!

Another day, another week.

Left some open positions over the weekend and they are not looking too pretty at the moment. Just might be time to set a fresh stop loss and work with the fresh mood Mr. Market has just opened with.

Okay! So I basically neither opened nor closed any trades yesterday Friday since I've held on to a Short GBP/USD position since the previous day Thursday until the time of writing.

I've got this supreme belief that the pair will eventually plummet and pay me. The Greece matter though adds some risk to the plot since decisions are bound to be reached this weekend, and popular opinion favors the possibility of a gap at the resumption of the next market week.

If the market gaps against me, I have sufficient margin to weather the storm, although it will be a huge loss that's bound to hurt. On the other hand, if the market gaps in my favor - and I've got good reason to believe this is more likely to happen - then it would be a great start to a new week as well as worthy compensation for believing and holding on for so long.

We'll see.

I'll be back with screen shots and updated records as soon as I close positions. For now, my real equity balance remains the same, but my open positions on sold cable are counting losses to the tune of up to $600 (should be less but the spread at market close is insane and it has exaggerated my running loss).

So, until the market returns tomorrow Sunday at 11pm, I've gotta go do some soul-searching on how to overcome my disloyalty to my first set stop loss, and then maybe do a little study on whether I'm guilty of overtrading or not.

Markets just opened. Chaos everywhere! Imagine EURJPY opening with 400 pips gap down. 400 pips! Hm... It's raining joy and pain.

The gap I had mentioned earlier concerning my weekend losing position turned out to favor me, thanks to Greece and Grexit. It could run more profits but I've chosen to close my positions with a little profit, and then stand aside to watch as the chaos unfolds. This market as it is is bound to dish out a healthy albeit brutal doze of joy and pain respectvely to traders this week. Oh, God please help me not to taste the pain.
