You try but u should know Mathematics isnt magic. First, (10+10)(10-10) not equal 20. (10+10)(10-10) =(20)(0)=20*0=0
secondly, 10(10-10) is not equal 10. 10(10-10)=10(0)=10*0=0

You're the one getting it wrong. There is a difference between -10^2 and (-10)^2. The former equals —100 while the latter equals +100. Op was referring to the former. He is still correct mathematically.

Let's not forget that d aim was to prove dat 0/0=2. D mathemagician did all in his power to do just that.

sorry mistake in my original post...but you do realise that it's impossible for that 10 below to divide the -10 above 'cos they're in their own induvidual equations. You don't just pick a number at random from an equation and decide to divide it....and even if it could, -10/10 would be = -1. I didn't get a B2 in maths and still doing well in the university by bring bad at maths

You are not really correct. He used a difference of two square rule which is ONLY applied in Mathematics when the squared numbers are different numbers otherwise the rule says it will end in zero.

In Further Mathematics, there is a chapter on LOGIC.
Any number divided by itself = 1..................correct.
But mathematically, 0 is a number.
So, 0 divided by itself = 1.

However, the OP like i said before, was creative, in applying basic algebra to arrive at his post. ie 0/0 = 2.
I can't fault him on that.
The attempt at reasoning it out alone, is to be commended. If indeed he /she is still in JSS class, as claimed.

You are busy insulting, when u obviously didn't understand the calculation done up there. The op didn't strike out 10/-10,rather he struck out (10-10)/(10-10). Check it out again, and follow the calculation carefully. Maybe you're the one whose maths result should be questioned.

I am ashamed at all of you.

The guy is a genius but he is wrong. We do not need to prove or argue over this.

He is not wrong because he is wrong. He is wrong because it does not follow the rule of those who invented mathematics.
