You see in mathematics division by 0 is undefined.

so (10-10)/(10-10) = 0/0 = undefined which is the right thing to do

but he did (10-10)/(10-10) = 1 which is the wrong thing to do

The guy has succeeded in deceiving u too. -b^2 means -b x -b which will always give u a positive value. He ignored the sign before the 100 which is never done

But has not in any way proven mathematically that 0/0 = 2

For you to prove mathematicaly,you have to correctly voke and obey mathematical laws in consistent logic.

I laugh at this. Bracket comes before division. Think of it this way. The bracket did come first. It was treated as a whole and used to cancel the whole bracket in the denominator.

Oya solve this 3(2+5)/(2+5). You can start expanding the brackets. Or you can easily cancel it out and get your answer as 3.

Referring to the numerator, -10 x 10 is not equal to -10^2 as written by the Mathematician. Instead, -10 x 10 = -100 while -10^2 = +100. The numerator says 100-100 not 100+100. Therefore the so called Mathematician is so wrong that he needs to get this off before small children see it and get confused

You're the one getting it wrong. There is a difference between -10^2 and (-10)^2. The former equals —100 while the latter equals +100. Op was referring to the former. He is still correct mathematically.

You should know you have arrived at a paradox and your expression is indeterminate; as you can see the expression you started with also appears in the final expression (0/0).

Even without using any expressions, 2 rules of Math are:

1. Zero divided by anything is zero.
2. Anything divided by zero is infinity.

So which is which when you have zero divided by zero? You have a contradiction.
