Nothing other than the fleeting euphoria derived from coming tops in a POPULARITY contest. I suppose it is fun (for some) and a medium to give a measure of purposefulness to the online lives of those involved. But we can't deny that beneath all the shenanigans, suspense and drama, it helps test the strength of character of each person involved and what minds which come together can achieve. gooogle translator-op u seem to be right there should be more to this competition than popularity,beauty and intelligence, their should be more prize to this more than the once to be offered. there should be more strategies to make this competition fun,and more of only on nairaland,all protocols duely observed nairaland will surely have a twitter and facebook account ,,the competition should be known to all the handles.... the organisers should learn how to raise funds so as to make the prizes to be won more qualitative and quantitative, at least pple we have here on nairaland are more interested in this game than you think.some are ready to give items at freewil...some are ready to do the sponsorship and so on. my opinion:before the next mr or miss/mrs nairaland will take place we should ask for sponsors,items donors e.t.c at least here on nairaland i have seen someone who sed he was goin to give the winner a car(i pray its real sha..)....and this should be handled by well notable pple or or honourable mods.....and this should be for a period of time ryt bfore the contest takes place.....and it should close ryt wen the contest process is taking place......gracias |
