This shows that the Nigerian government can even do more than this if they are sincere. Am really impressed with this development. Not these second hand trains the government has been displaying |

erunz: "Excellent" governor Fashola is still loading the aloku metal scarps from Toronto four years after and $1 billion World Bank loan spent APC dey maga Lagosians since 1999 http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/lagos-how-we-spent-n160bn-world-bank-loan-on-light-rail-project/188736/ Although half the cars are more than 30 years old, Ross is adamant they are perfectly safe and are only being decommissioned for capacity reasons. But he also admitted the TTC is not required to make sure the cars meet any safety standards before selling them. 3 Likes 1 Share |

All of you commending Liyel 'sleeping' Imoke for this project know nothing about CRS. This was the last legacy Donald Duke left for himself before leaving office in 2007. It was designed to link margaret ekpo airport with tinapa and environs. Its a shame that the coaches just arrived after 8years and the sleeping clown wants to take all the glory...smh 2 Likes |

Till this project is commissioned nobody should applaud the Cross River state government, this is how Lagos state inundated the public with reports of their monorail project in the media yet 5 years later the trains are nowhere to be seen. 1 Like |

guardian09: I understand your position. But I think the distance of operation can be scaled up. Is there not something like that to gradually increase the coverage? If not I think it is a silly idea! |

Why distance does it cover? Tinapa across the artificial Lake to the new ICC... A distance of possibly one kilometre or less |

situationroom:Smh. *Face in Palm*Do not bring to fore anymore of your childishness around any of my post, I never made that post to degrade anyone or entity. My post was in response to the question as regards the distance of the Monorail at the moment. If the Government want to scale it further it is a welcome development. Please for your own good go and learn some manners and ethics in holding discussions or arguments that are beyond your comprehension.I wonder who is the Somalia migrant now. |
