The biggest grouse I have with Electrical Electronics Engineering in Nigeria is that it is all theoretical. I read the story of an EEE person who couldn't use a tester the other day. Funny as it seems, it's really not his fault because we don't have as much technology appreciation in Nigeria. Go to countries like Japan and China and watch high school children play around with elementary robotics when our Elect engrs keep doing circuit theory.

If you compare this to the Chemical Engineering field in Nigeria, you'll see the difference. Nigeria is one of the highest exporters of crude oil.
