Rose2014: I'm with you on this. As long Nigeria is still a country, Buhari will rule and even if he dies in office, I'm 100% sure SS and SE leaders will assist North in replacing him with another northern; osinbade will be just the VP, nothing more, nothing less. The north will forever remain leaders after all that's what SW wants. This past election opened so many people's eyes. Infact, I think it's a blessing the way this past election went through. 5 Likes 1 Share |

See them begging already ONITSHA — Ndigbo Unity Forum, NUF, an Igbo social-political organisation, has set a five-point agenda for the Preisdent-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), as a means of pacifying Ndigbo in all its ramifications. Top on the agenda is ensuring the execution of the second Niger Bridge project, as scheduled; use of reputable persons from the Eastern region in his government, as well as giving the region an additional state. President-elect Muhammadu Buhari (L) waves in Abuja on April 1, 2015. Nigeria's new president-elect Muhammadu Buhari hailed polls that will lead to the first democratic change of power in Africa's most populous nation as "historic" hours after he secured a decisive victory. AFP PHOTO President-elect Muhammadu Buhari (L) waves in Abuja on April 1, 2015. Nigeria’s new president-elect Muhammadu Buhari hailed polls that will lead to the first democratic change of power in Africa’s most populous nation as “historic” hours after he secured a decisive victory. AFP PHOTO In a press statement issued, yesterday, in Onitsha, Anambra State, shortly after its quarterly meeting, NUF also asked the President-elect to reduce accidents on federal roads by constructing a dual carriage way since most of the roads were currently single lane and in a state of disrepair. According to the group, the President-elect should also implement the national confab report as this will help fortify national unity. NUF said after examining the outcome and transparency of the just concluded 2015 presidential election, it had no other option than to congratulate the President-elect. “NUF is confident that the President-elect will give Nigerians the desired change that will steer the economic and security situation towards the right direction.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/ndigbo-forum-lists-demands-for-buhari/?hootPostID=c5264f3682179c1a07508f0e895bff2a |

NewNigeriaMind: They cry marginalisation when not favour but when favour you would not hear anything from our brothers from the land of the falling sun. This is their pain: abegii jare una go cry tara Life is not all about you guys. Selfishness at its peak!!!! Why didn't you say all these rubbish when Jonathan filled up everywhere with incompetent Igbos? Igbos utterances in the last couple of days has shown how hypocritical and despicable you guys are. After Aguiyi Ironsi regime, Nigerians thought there would never be a govt administration laced up with tribalism, bigotry and nepotism until another half-Igbo man became a president. Take a look at this list below and tell me if any president has ever done this except Aguiyi Ironsi. President-Igbo SGF-Igbo CBN - IGBO Speaker deputy - Igbo Senate deputy - Igbo Minister for Finance - Igbo Petroleum-Bayelsa Printing and Minting - Igbo Nafdac -Igbo Health - Igbo Even the Hausas/Fulanis in military have never done this above show of shame and pure tribalism. And Igbos were quiet all through that administration cos others were marginalised. Jonathan removed other tribes from head of parastatals and put Igbos there but that would be addressed now. Bureau of statistics was filled up with Igbos. The Igbo man in charge of population related parastatal even made an attempt to inflate the population of Igbos by trying to run the previous census down so as to pave room for manipulation but Thank God for Nigeria senate who saw through that tribal plan. The map of Nigeria alone says a lot without doing per head counting. I wish this coming administration could pay you bunch of Ingrates in your own coins 3 Likes 3 Shares |

OneNaira6: I don't know whether to laugh or cry for people like you. You don't mind confessing that your view of Nigerian politics today, post the very much deserved loss of GEJ, is driven solely by a vengeful desire to frustrate and undermine the Yorubas? "Nothing more, nothing less"? Tragic. The development of Nigeria, that the Buhari Presidency may deliver, is clearly not your concern. As long as the Yorubas are made to "chop sand" you are okay for Nigeria to burn. I would even find all this amusing if so many Igbos have not made precisely this vendetta-driven statement against the Yorubas over an election where the SW, as entitled to do, voted out a hideous misruler they had helped to install as President 4 years ago with their votes . You guys need to be really careful. You are the only ones who will lose out over this insistence on going public with your hatred of the Yorubas and your desire to work against them regardless of whether your lust for vengeance furthers the pursuit of good governance or not. I don't even know what to say to creatures of mindless hate like you. This is simply too much. You need to get a life and be happy. You are mentally disturbed yet you don't know it because only lunatics will hold a grudge against people who made independent electoral choice, as entitled, and voted out a misruler on course to leading Nigeria to collapse completely. Perhaps that is what your kind want anyway. Yet you should know Yorubas are different and I must ask, when will it sink into your hateful heads that what people of the SW want, above everything else, is socio-economic development that will move Nigeria closer to becoming a developed nation while you continue to obsess about Osinbajo and the Yorubas "chopping sand"? The song from Peter Tosh below is for hateful hypocrites like you who don't understand that "if you live in a glass house don't throw stones, if you can't take blows don't throw blows". Live your life plotting the political/electoral downfall of the Yorubas. We don't give a feck. We will continue chasing what matters to us most which is the democratic and socio-economic development of Nigeria. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNDW-e89wyA 5 Likes |

Texcoco: And I quote GBAWE Gbawe: Nairalanders, stop working yourselves up and fighting each other over a garbage thread from a garbage poster. There is no "Alhaji Shamsudeen Usman, Kano APC leader" as the article claims so therefore the spurious article is false from start to finish. The prominent Shamsudeen Usman Nigerians know is the economist who was Minister of national planning under GEJ till 2013. That Shamsudeen Usman is a refined technocrat who is usually politically neutral and I do not know when he transformed into a "Kano APC leader" let alone a garrulous one who speaks uncouthly like a motor park tout. This utterance they now attribute to Usman is as silly, as out of character and as improbable as the diatribe they claim Soyinka ridiculed the Igbos with. Yet we all know ethnocentric bigots will believe anything that targets and maligns the ethnic group they live to hate. This is the sort of opposition some want to play for the next four years i.e opposition of lies, stupidity, shamelessness, mudslinging, fabrications, character assassination and ethnic hatred/disharmony. Folks should do some basic investigation before allowing themselves to be baited by mischief-makers and bitter losers determined, by hook or by crook, to undermine the relationship between the North and SW they foolishly believe to be about everything except the agitation for good governance. These hateful elements will all be disgraced. They can create fifty lies daily and attribute such ungodly fabrications to as many prominent Nigerians as they want , same as they did with Soyinka lately, but this will not stop APC delivering good governance that will genuinely transform Nigeria as the PDP has been unable to do after 16 years in charge. Thank you. Ibo can cry all want- its too late! Case closed 3 Likes 1 Share |

Texcoco: You guys are all hateful clowns and the world is laughing at your caveman-like backwardness. What cannot be argued, from Nigeria to Helsinki, is that GEJ deserved to be voted out because he let Nigerians down horribly. Yet we know your kind will see things differently because you are all intellectual lilliputians with shallow ideals always driven by an agenda of mindless hatred of others. Pray for "the subjugation by the north of the southwest" all you want yet the rest of us normal and balanced Nigerians, regardless of your malevolent and divisive wishes for us, will continue backing Buhari, Osinbajo and the competent Nigerian team the APC government convenes to move Nigeria into an age of socio-economic greatness. That is all that matters for patriotic Nigerians who love their nation. What obtained under GEJ was not good enough . Normal, balanced and ambitious Nigerians deserve 'change'. If you don't understand this then GOD (go and die) and save us your vindictive and tedious rants. 1 Like |

Gbawe:We don't understand the correllation btw this your long toothless ranting and the unfolding events happening right now as we speak.... www.nairaland.com/2309586/yoruba-people-contributed-nothing-buharis/1....Save this talk for the illiterate northern power mongers keen to cut down to size and relegate your paymasters into the background. Our concern is to clap and point fingers or maybe give a helping hand or two in the subjugation frenzy. After which we can quote the whole exercise in your own sugar coating words and proffuse verbage(a facade which you and your janjaweedes have had extensive use hiding away the hypocrisy, bigotry and corruption) as "a move that matters for patriotic Nigerians who love their nation" 6 Likes |

The truth is many Yoruba feel their own leaders truly betrayed the Southern Coalition that for the last 16 years actually made some progress. But of course, like during Awolowo days,Tinubu and his click saw an opportunity and they seized it, even if it meant electing a grandpa coupist to come in when there were very able and tested guys that would have taken us into the future. |
