Former (Nigeria)senator’s daughter to play for England in 2015 World Cup



Eniola Aluko is the daughter of former Ekiti senator, Gbenga Aluko. She is an English footballer who plays for Chelsea Ladies of the FA WSL as a forward. She was born in Nigeria but moved with her family to Birmingham when she was 1-year-old. Since she grew up in England, she chose to represent England at international level. Her brother Sone Aluko is also a professional footballer and is a full international for Nigeria. Eni took to Instagram today to break the news. In her words, “It’s official – delighted to be selected for my 3rd Women’s World Cup!!! So excited to get out to Canada now & hopefully do something special in an England shirt. Let’s go England #WWC #Canada.”

All these african players playing for foreign countries are nt proud of either thier colour or country. They just make wrong choice for the fact they were born there, but how do they think that england will drop thier own white home grown players and favour them? mtcheeew

Don't blame them bro. Over there, they have better facilities and environment to work with. Many of our past heroes have been used and dumped.

Inasmuch as I would have loved to see her play in the green and white, the NFF is so discouraging and clueless
