Good enough to wipe out SANDF. Your army has only a 38 km shell range. Any 39 cal Bofors will shoot to 30 km FACT !

Lies as always, SANDF artillery will crash beyond recognition. You have nothing to match it. A 39 cal cannot even shoot past 25km mark.

"the farther away you get from the earth, the thinner the atmosphere gets. The total heat content of a system is directly related to the amount of matter present, so it is cooler at higher elevations."
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/if-heat-rises-why-does-th/

"Altitude is the height you are above sea level. The higher up you are the lower the temperature will be. This is because air that is higher up is less dense than it is at lower altitudes and air temperature depends on its density. As a general rule for every 1,000m higher you go the temperature will drop by 6.5 °C."
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Basic_Geography/Climate/Climate_Elements

"air at higher altitudes is less dense. Since fewer air molecules exist in a certain volume of air, there are fewer molecules colliding with each other, and as a result, there will be less heat produced. This means cooler air."

@Asuooka said Nigeria fought in the Angolan war against South Africa.

People from the Southie tail of Africa nation were arguing and disputing with him, despite his proof from sources posted here.

Well, now we have a current date May 2015 source from Nigerian air force chief of staff confirming Nigeria's military action in Angola against South Africa.

It's a pity how fellow African countries have all forgotten how Nigerian military saved them many times from the hands of death.

NAF Chief of staff, Marshal Amosu mentioned some of notable accomplishments of NAF as successful participation in the Civil War less than 3 years after its establishment; supporting Government Policy on apartheid as a frontline state by providing strategic airlift of arms and logistics supplies to Mozambique, Namibia, Angola and Zimbabwe;

Bro! I'm not saying Cold air is less dens, I'm saying air at higher altitude is less dens ,this is a fact! Also the reason its colder at altitude is due to the air particles being so far from each other, thus it makes it much more difficult to retain heat.

Comparing apples and shoe laces. You must take atmospheric pressure into account....you cant just say warm air/cold air if they are at different pressures. Warm air is less dense than cold air, AT THE SAME PRESSURE.

Example. The air you are currently breathing is warmer than air at 30 000 feet which a jet liner flies at. Does that mean a jet liner flies through denser air than that currently entering your nostrils? Why then do aircraft need to be pressurized? You think you would survive for more than 30 seconds trying to inhale the "denser, colder air" at 30 000 feet?

Basic science that anyone with a high school education would know. But i dont blame Agaugust for his lack of understanding. The likes of Henry120 will agree to whatever Agaugust says, they worship him like a god.

These poorly educated Nigerians fail to use the word "In a closed system, hot air is less denser than a cold air, hence in an open system like the atmosphere, it will always rise up and be neutralised".

A practical example would be that of a plane flying low. A jet flying at low altitude will experience more air friction and utilise more fuel than a jet flying up in the sky.

poorly educated Nigerians, with a poor education system.

This is hilarious !

I warned all Southies not to play this game with me again on this forum, because I used it to embarrass South African navy man @Andrewza who has been in Mandela's pooly trained navy for almost 10 years and still does not know Nigerian navy Lynx Mk.89 is a fully equipped anti-submarine warfare helicopter with factory built in hidden ASW sonar, radar, and torpedoes, I made a mockery of your SAN navy here on that hilarious day.

So your country does not know Nigeria has hidden anti-submarine capability in reserve? You would have come here and we sink all Mandela's bank loan submarines while you are still repaying the bank debt grin grin

Now go tell that Augustine on Beegegale that Nigerian navy has power to sink South African submarines in one day o !

Lesotho

so what do you say?

Lesotho was a coup plot drama, Nigerian police force can deal with, stopping riots from a coup is plot is police duty, it's not a war.

DRC Congo was a United Nations effort of military forces from many countries from all over the world doing the fighting.

Burundi was another small crisis, Nigerian police force with their helicopters, 14.5mm heavy machine guns, BTR-3 IFV can handle it well.

CAR Bangui was a 300 man 15 hour fight, and the worst escapology run away humiliation for South African army in it' history.

Current SANDF has ZERO war experience with IFVs, battle tanks, artillery, land based surveillance/spy equipment, etc

Nigerian army has both training + Experience combined, best performing army in the world 2105.

Even American army won't beat our 2015 war record.

Show us the current South African army in real war.....with 30,000 troops and heavy weapons !

MRAPs and Automatic Grenade Launchers looted from Army base by rebels tongue tongue

Burundi bungle leaves SANDF chiefs red-faced

October 31 2006 at 04:31am
By Karyn Maughan

South African National Defence Force troops were sent to Burundi to keep the peace - but it seems the poor management of equipment and the theft of South African weapons that land in rebel hands is fuelling the conflict.

Sources have confirmed that millions of rands worth of vehicles, guns, ammunition and bombs, and supplies worth over R27-million have vanished from the South African army base in Burundi over the last four years.

The missing vehicles are believed to include several Casspirs; a Mazda ambulance; Isuzu bakkies; one firefighting truck; Landrover Defenders; trucks; a water tanker; a Yamaha motorcycle; forklift trucks; Toyota Condor vans; several cars; a tractor; and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

The Star has also established that among the weapons missing are 40 mortar bombs; 54 R-4 rifles; four R-5 rifles; a sniper rifle; two 12-gauge shotguns; eight machineguns; eight pistols; and 27 grenade launchers.

A 15 KVA generator is also understood to be missing.

While army authorities have previously blamed poor accounting practices for the losses, an investigation by The Star has found that on one occasion at least 50 missing SANDF mortar bombs - out of 80 bombs stolen using an army-owned Land-Rover - were found in a FNL Phalipe-Hutu rebel group camp in Kiriri, Burundi.

The FNL has been blamed for a series of mortar attacks on the Burundian capital, Bujumbura, in which at least 300 people are known to have died.

The Star has also learnt that a case of ammunition - part of a total 1,5-million SANDF-owned rounds that went missing in Burundi - was found in the possession of Burundian government forces in 2004.

As yet, the SANDF has failed to reveal how many millions of rands worth of weapons, vehicles and supplies it has lost to theft or mismanagement. Disturbingly, it seems the SANDF has no idea how many weapons are in its possession.

Now, following a scathing Auditor-General's report into the Department of Defence's "inadequate" and "deficient" accounting practices, the Democratic Alliance was due to ask the Defence Ministry in parliament today to address claims that about 70 army vehicles, over 110 weapons and items of equipment, and millions of rands worth of supplies have disappeared from the South African base in Burundi.

Minister of Defence Mosiuoa Lekota, who has admitted.

The air argument is about freezing cold air in snow covered top of mountain Himalayas where the Bofors artillery was fighting. That is not ordinary high altitude in just any city of the world, we were talking about snow covered mountain top where the air is at freezing icy temperatures, and it is denser than any air you have in a normal world.

I proved that with a source from American weather scientists, nothing can beat their professionalism, they have concluded in agreement with my statement.

Keep sulking, does not change the experts report.

I have asked the question to them why they do not investigate the “training” the NA got from the other foreign trainers for several years and why that training was so ineffective. It seems this is something they desperately wish to avoid.
