The great master of Nigeria, Mr Barlows said his men physically fought on defeating Boko Haram. I quote: While the Nigerian government has insisted the South Africans' role was mainly as "technical advisers", Barlow suggested his men had been involved in direct combat. jpphilips:Bro! I'm not saying Cold air is less dens, I'm saying air at higher altitude is less dens ,this is a fact! Also the reason its colder at altitude is due to the air particles being so far from each other, thus it makes it much more difficult to retain heat. 2 Likes |

jpphilips: Comparing apples and shoe laces. You must take atmospheric pressure into account....you cant just say warm air/cold air if they are at different pressures. Warm air is less dense than cold air, AT THE SAME PRESSURE. Example. The air you are currently breathing is warmer than air at 30 000 feet which a jet liner flies at. Does that mean a jet liner flies through denser air than that currently entering your nostrils? Why then do aircraft need to be pressurized? You think you would survive for more than 30 seconds trying to inhale the "denser, colder air" at 30 000 feet? Basic science that anyone with a high school education would know. But i dont blame Agaugust for his lack of understanding. The likes of Henry120 will agree to whatever Agaugust says, they worship him like a god. 3 Likes |

saengine: These poorly educated Nigerians fail to use the word "In a closed system, hot air is less denser than a cold air, hence in an open system like the atmosphere, it will always rise up and be neutralised". A practical example would be that of a plane flying low. A jet flying at low altitude will experience more air friction and utilise more fuel than a jet flying up in the sky. poorly educated Nigerians, with a poor education system. 1 Like |

The truth comes out bit by bit. Gunships and fighters were operated by SA mercenaries in Boko Haram war. Barlow finally confirmed what we have been telling these fools. mzilakazi: Lesotho was a coup plot drama, Nigerian police force can deal with, stopping riots from a coup is plot is police duty, it's not a war. DRC Congo was a United Nations effort of military forces from many countries from all over the world doing the fighting. Burundi was another small crisis, Nigerian police force with their helicopters, 14.5mm heavy machine guns, BTR-3 IFV can handle it well. CAR Bangui was a 300 man 15 hour fight, and the worst escapology run away humiliation for South African army in it' history. Current SANDF has ZERO war experience with IFVs, battle tanks, artillery, land based surveillance/spy equipment, etc Nigerian army has both training + Experience combined, best performing army in the world 2105. Even American army won't beat our 2015 war record. Show us the current South African army in real war.....with 30,000 troops and heavy weapons ! . 1 Like

SANDF massively robbed of heavy weapons in Burundi ! MRAPs and Automatic Grenade Launchers looted from Army base by rebels Burundi bungle leaves SANDF chiefs red-faced October 31 2006 at 04:31am By Karyn Maughan South African National Defence Force troops were sent to Burundi to keep the peace - but it seems the poor management of equipment and the theft of South African weapons that land in rebel hands is fuelling the conflict. Sources have confirmed that millions of rands worth of vehicles, guns, ammunition and bombs, and supplies worth over R27-million have vanished from the South African army base in Burundi over the last four years. The missing vehicles are believed to include several Casspirs; a Mazda ambulance; Isuzu bakkies; one firefighting truck; Landrover Defenders; trucks; a water tanker; a Yamaha motorcycle; forklift trucks; Toyota Condor vans; several cars; a tractor; and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The Star has also established that among the weapons missing are 40 mortar bombs; 54 R-4 rifles; four R-5 rifles; a sniper rifle; two 12-gauge shotguns; eight machineguns; eight pistols; and 27 grenade launchers. A 15 KVA generator is also understood to be missing. While army authorities have previously blamed poor accounting practices for the losses, an investigation by The Star has found that on one occasion at least 50 missing SANDF mortar bombs - out of 80 bombs stolen using an army-owned Land-Rover - were found in a FNL Phalipe-Hutu rebel group camp in Kiriri, Burundi. The FNL has been blamed for a series of mortar attacks on the Burundian capital, Bujumbura, in which at least 300 people are known to have died. The Star has also learnt that a case of ammunition - part of a total 1,5-million SANDF-owned rounds that went missing in Burundi - was found in the possession of Burundian government forces in 2004. As yet, the SANDF has failed to reveal how many millions of rands worth of weapons, vehicles and supplies it has lost to theft or mismanagement. Disturbingly, it seems the SANDF has no idea how many weapons are in its possession. Now, following a scathing Auditor-General's report into the Department of Defence's "inadequate" and "deficient" accounting practices, the Democratic Alliance was due to ask the Defence Ministry in parliament today to address claims that about 70 army vehicles, over 110 weapons and items of equipment, and millions of rands worth of supplies have disappeared from the South African base in Burundi. Minister of Defence Mosiuoa Lekota, who has admitted. http://www.iol.co.za/news/south-africa/burundi-bungle-leaves-sandf-chiefs-red-faced-1.300893#.VVNF99JViko . 2 Likes |

mzilakazi: Hey dude, Nigerian Bofors 39 cal artillery range is 30 km BB shell. SANDF G-6 artillery range is 38 km BB shell. A Nigerian army Palmaria will close that tiny 8km gap in 8 minutes, that's if at all we are so far from each other, armies fight close combat. rka1: That's unnecessary, Mr Barlow on international news admitted to have been directly involved in war by flying gunships and fighter jets, using an old tradition and art of bushmen and Khoisan, the craft that is still being used in SANDF by tracking the tracks of insurgents, gathering intelligence, etc. A Southern African bushman. Very skilled!!! Have trained SANDF including Mr Barlow

saengine: god ? We christians don't believe in gods, we believe in God almighty. All we know is South Africans worship Mandela like your god. The air argument is about freezing cold air in snow covered top of mountain Himalayas where the Bofors artillery was fighting. That is not ordinary high altitude in just any city of the world, we were talking about snow covered mountain top where the air is at freezing icy temperatures, and it is denser than any air you have in a normal world. I proved that with a source from American weather scientists, nothing can beat their professionalism, they have concluded in agreement with my statement. Keep sulking, does not change the experts report. |

mzilakazi:Reply Eeben says: May 11, 2015 at 4:57 pm He contacted me on Twitter and I told him to speak to the NA. I have been emphatic that any victories by the NA were NA victories and not STTEPs. He, as many other journos, do not want to give the NA any credit. I have asked the question to them why they do not investigate the “training” the NA got from the other foreign trainers for several years and why that training was so ineffective. It seems this is something they desperately wish to avoid. Reply 1 Like |
