You are right. Let's just hope he'll refuse the jumbo pay when the time comes. But for now, I admire the fact that he is speaking openly against corruption- something very few 'ordinary' Nigerians have the opportunity to do.

It's more or less a cultural problem in Nigeria, they think they have a right to be paid more than any CEO in the country.

Like 'serving' 'the people' is some commercial enterprise.

Same too goes for our religious leaders.

Unfortunately, their egos and skewed mindset is fueled by the abjectly poor governed.

By now,anybody that is still thinking Ben Bruce is going to the NASS for business as usual has missed it. I only hope some more prominent lawmakers can support him in this criticism so that Nigeria can move forward. Nigeria cannot grow as we expect if we don't as a nation address the huge fraction if our resources used to service lawmakers.
