The whole thing just defies logic.

A senior Northern politician says publicly that giving the Senate Presidency and HoR speakership to 2 northern regions which have not always voted in unison with the feudal core north will help the entire north to unite for long term domination of the political space, and we have SE and SS representatives lining up to endorse this position?

O ma se o
[/s]

It is time to give SW d sour grape to taste too. No matter the collateral damage, they must smell d coffee.

They will see sophisticated treachery pay back in a great measure. Even if it means north having everything. They were crying of no position in GEJ cabinet after tifnubuu sold the speakership to d north.

Please, no preaching.

Tinubu asking for Speakership position after trading it off some years back, abi ?

Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola from Ogbomosho penciled by PDP to occupy the seat was denied/robbed with the conspiracy of Tinubu, and was given to Malam Tambuwa.

So, let the weeping continue.

Don't they ever learn from history?
The North and Southwest are just friendly enemies, who only unite to fight the Igbos and later go back into enmity when there are no Igbos to fight.

I don't mean any disrespect; but I've read the story of Awolowo and Abiola to lend credence to the truth that history always repeats itself.

What story did you read about Awolowo? Awo was never a stooge to the north! Ge fought against the northern domination, but the reverse was the case in Abiola who bowed to the Northern oligarchy, yet, they made him bled to death!

Point of order!

This is not a romance between SW and the North but a FAKE Marriage between Tinubu and his northern friends. (CHANGE)

Original Yorubas are against the fake union.

Let see how the game of power plays out!

Shalom!

Correct! Quote me i have said it before by the time Tinubu knows what is happening he will have learnt what Awolowo found out standing on a mole hill he could not see standing on a mountain.

Your loss in the last election is still giving you nightmares. With time you will get over it; probably when your principal fool Ebele Jonascam retires to his village you will all realised that the battle to save Nigeria from cluelessness has been won by Nigerians and loss by you TANoids.
Yorubas fight Ibos, Hausas fight Ibos, Ijaws fight Ibos, Ikweres fight Ibos, Kanuris fight Ibos, Fulanis fight Ibos. Na only una dey? Better check yourself before you all check into psychiatric hospital.
Is time you come to your senses. You can deceive your self sometimes but not all the time. He told you the truth and you are already crying. No man succeds with deceit. I pity SW. I will be truly shock to the marrow if SW missed out from senate pred and speaker. Yes igbos did not vote 4 APC and they aint getting any stuff out of the two. You guys laugh and mocked SE and here you are with all your tinubu noise maker about to have only a slave osibanjo quartered in a cubicle in Abuja. The north has already bared him from the normal activity even in the transition committee where he suppose to head. Buhari appointed 83 yrs old man instead of osibanjo. Nobody even hears about vp. Shame! The northerners are bold enough to say that they will cut SW into size. If the east got SFG, they would be far better than the so called silent partner vp. They have been saying recently that it was northern votes alone that brought Buhari to win. You are openly regarded as fools and traitors by the northern caucus even for selling out the north. Lets still watch out the way things we go.

First of all chill out and drink some ice water. No need to give yourself a stroke.

Secondly, is it SE/SS people coming out to put down the Yoruba? As far as I can see all the recent comments about the Yoruba not contributing to Buhari's victory and the Yoruba being greedy etc have come from NORTHERNERS.

Thirdly, was it not Yoruba ACP members who ganged up with northerners to prevent a fellow Yoruba from becoming the last speaker? Was that the work of SS/SE?

Rather than coming here to rant and make empty threats, maybe you should first reflect on the damage your own Yoruba people have caused to themselves. Here are a few reminders for you.

Obasanjo handing over to Shagari instead of Awo
Shonekon agreeing to head Govt, when a fellow Yoruba man Abiola had clearly one the election.
Diya remaining in govt, even though Abiola was in detention.

SS/SE Are not your problem, your own greedy elite, who are ever ready to lick the Fulani boot are your problem.

On a final note, I think our short history as a Nation should have shown everybody that the SS/SE are 2 regions not be messed with. Be careful when you start making threats. A word is enough for the wise as they say.

As I read the content of the write up,I was just annoyed, the man is a fool,he doesn't have the interest of Nigeria in his hearth atall, just the interest of northerners. So the president should be in the north, senate president in the north, speaker in the north,so all deputies should be from the south? Had it been south east didn't frked up,they deserve the senate president but they failed. Though the best candidate should always emerge in all ramifications but not at the derail of southerners. This arrangement of thing is simple as ABC but for selfish reasons they won't do what is right for the country. The president elect is from the north west,VP from southwest, senate president to the north central though south eats ought to have it but they didn't produce any APC senator from south east,so SGF will be good for the east, deputy senate president should be for the north east ,speaker for the south west and deputy speaker for the south and south and say chief whip#chikena

Your reasoning is amazing. You voted a northerner to be your president (the highest possible office). Most Igbo states rejected him yet you turn around and accuse Igbos of supporting northern domination. Are you for real?
Why didn't SW team up with the SE or SS to form the opposition party if it wasn't to exclude the SE?
SW is in no place to accuse the SE or SS.
You have made your bed, lie on it.

There is nothing like a political gaffe here, the westerners know about this game, we will get the speaker of the house. If the North start madness, only the southwest can put them in their place they know this well. We will re ignite the seperation of the nation and we have all to live as one, forget oil. We will put the north under pressure, under international limelight and our voice will be heard as usual. only the west can bring about seperation or division of Nigeria and the hausa/fulani knows that quite well. Even in the military era, they did all to please the Yoruba, not to spearhead the division. We know this game well.

No one should complain about this. When the Tinubus were backing the north to produce the President, their calculation was that all 19 states of the north will unite behind a northern candidate and the South west will only need to insert a few votes to ensure victory and then get some form of reward, they chose the easy route. This man is only trying to cement that arrangement by making sure the north becomes even more united in voting.
