Pls I use HTC vivid but recently my contacts is not working(I mean my phone book which is term as #people# on HTC) how can resolve this pls.

those sdcards are fake! you need an original class 10 sd card.

download root explorer

1)Open root explorer.
2)Go to root.(There will be option for root or storage.
3)Go to etc folder.
4)Go down to find 'hosts'(it will be at middle of list below gps.conf) ,long press it, and delete it.
Just long press on that hosts file and delete


Reboot your phone.

when I open phone book to try to save number, it will just say (people is not responding. # force to close or tell HTC) that is d response am getting when I try to open it.

What did u noticed u last did on your b4 you start noticing this...

I'm sorry I'm asking too many questions, buh when you were trying the three SD cards on your phone, is it possible that they were of the same brand? Prolly the phone is rejecting a specific brand of SD card.

And please make sure the"install from unknown sources" option is active.

. Wah didju do last with the phone before you noticed, coz I'm assuming the phone wasn't like that when you bought it. Right?

is this the error you get? "android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly" and did u restore contact. Besides did u do an update because there were peeps complaining about this for sometimes now. So that's why am asking u enough question to be able to see which of the categories the fault is coming from.

try this

WARNING!: This will wipe contacts. It seems acore fc's when there are corrupted contacts. Usually by restoring contacts on an incompatible ROM.... And will temporarily wipe market list. So backup your contacts!

Step by step:

Make sure Sync is off, leave it off for some time!
Go into settings
Select Applications
Select Manage Applications
(If you are on 2.2) Select the All tab
Scroll down until you find Contacts Storage (select it).
Wipe data+clear cache(If available)
Hit back
Scroll down until you find Google Services Framework (select it)
Wipe data+clear cache (if available)
Reboot and enjoy
(optional) Enable Sync again Enable sync again when your convinced that the error has gone.

i jus woke up one moring n notice it......cos my fone memory wz full i tried movin some app to my Sd card...then i found out dat any app i move to d Sd card get korrpt......onyl my app sha...every other stuff r intact...

1. Check and uninstall irrelevant or less frequently used apps from your phone.

2. Move others to memory card if your phone supports it.
