Flying Eagles camp gist I understand, Success spoke to Manu today. Some of the crew are unhappy with Success because he has not kept contact with the team even after they won AYC, No calls or text. If Success is taken, Ezeh or Godwin will be dropped, Both have been good in camp. Mr. Mowiz @guysly2much · 12m 12 minutes ago Talking about closeness to Manu Garba...Musa Yahaya is the closet,Manu wore his 11 jersey all through the 1st week of their camping in KD Mr. Mowiz @guysly2much · 11m 11 minutes ago Alhassan Ibrahim is also very close to Manu Garba but he is on the verge of getting dropped..to Manu relationship count less Mr. Mowiz @guysly2much · 10m 10 minutes ago Manu dropped Adamu Abubakar who is from same state and LG like him...Relationship counts less ask Theo Solomon how he was dropped from U-17 Mr. Mowiz @guysly2much · 9m 9 minutes ago Aliyu Abubakar is also very close to the coach but see how Manu dispensed him when he derailed?? The man puts results 1st Mr. Mowiz @guysly2much · 6m 6 minutes ago What about Saddam Billy Auta? Manu never stop talking about him just the way he waxed lyrical to me about a certain "Ronaldo" Sam Emmanuel 1 Like |

LeeCodeman: That's the ugliest Jersey I have ever seen the national football team on. Nike is rubbish when it comes to design. They look more like street football team. Whoever designed this jerseys should go back to fashion school. Meanwhile those guys in the front row with the exception of Bulbwa all look like trouble makers at Aba and oshodi. |

Isaac Success has been given 48 hours to report or be axed. I guess that is the content of his conversation with Manu. So he must be there by Friday. 1 Like |

I think Manu should drop Okon, not Ezeh or Saviour... Those men have been doing too well to be dropped. |

tbaba1234:yes o.... i have been following ezeh right from the u13 level. The guy got class... he may not have attained his full potentials now but will certainly go places. As they say... form is temporary but class is permanent... Thats why am wary of all the gatecrashers... They may get in because of form.. but taking a look at the long term there exist a very little gap between their current form and true potentials.... Not to also mention that ezeh is among those in this team i can vouch for their age cause it is well documented right from u13 level.... last bullet.... the guy is also handsome.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I hope Success doesn't make the deadline just so Ezeh and Saviour make the team......would be an injustice if either got axed for a Success whose fitness is in question. When e reach now, he'll get injured in Game 2 and that will be the end of his tournament like in U-17 1 Like |

billante:I hate injustice not Baba Success. I do not understand the basis for clamouring for someone who has not played with the team since 2013 and has not even bothered to follow up with their progress since then. He has failed to contact any of the team handlers, he has most likely lost touch with the entire team and will probably ruin their cohesion and worst of all, he hasn't played a game in 2 weeks, for all we know he's not fit. And you're going to drop 2 dedicated players one of whom could have remained in his team, FC Porto just chilling until something happens, but instead made it to camp on time. Two players who have been busting their azzes and scoring goals even, for someone who you're banking on based off his performance at the U-17 AYC? Dude, If Saviour and Chidera were your relatives, you wouldn't be talking like this. There is nothing placinng Success above those guys at all A player who failed to keep in touch all this time only to come and gatecrash the party at the last minute does NOT deserve a place and I hope he doesn't get it and if he does, I hope he has a terrible tournament like he did in UAE cuz that would be Karma doing her thing. 4 Likes 1 Share |

safarigirl: so when he gave his all and was always in camp from u17 qualifiers all the way to 2nd match of the u17 world cup and got injured when he over stretched himself to score against Sweden, he wasnt dedicated? He has a professional contract with a club, most others don't and have the liberty to report to camp anytime.....if it was when he was still playing street football in Benin he will definitely be asking when is camp opening and report before he is even told to do so Only the coaches knows what success has that have made them to give him special advantage Even the Godwin savior guy could have taken some else place in u23 who have been in camp before him and dedicated. 3 Likes |

billante:and Chidera and Saviour are not giving their all currenttly abi? They don't belong to any clubs, na only Success get club shey? So what is his excuse for not calling the coach or any of the technical crew since the U-17? He didn't have money to call or he misplaced their numbers? Is he the only one playing for a vig club? Moses that is a TOP player for Gent bothered to call, he's more important to them than Success is to Granada, but he has been keeping up with the team. Iheanacho is with City, a far BIGGER club than Granada, yet he called. So because Success injured at the Ui17 world cup, they should give him special treatment, didn't he get a medal at UAE? Didn't he get paid? Was he denied anything others got? Did Yahaya not get injured during AYC qualifiers? Abi that one sef no get club wey dey play important games? See bros, if you must present a case for Isaac, do it without sentiments biko. Sentiments don't win games, preparations do and Success is not part of the preparation this time 1 Like |

safarigirl: The guy has paid his dues in that team for long and can't be discarded like that! The phone calling news is hearsay from pressmen, you were not there to confirm A Messi that is late to camp will always start a match before a higuain that has been in camp from day one 1 Like |

billante:Success is not and can never be the Messi of this team. The team is not built around one player like Manu always says. Success has not played in up to 17 games now and those boys have not lost even one game. If he were Messi, they would have at least 3 losses. Awoniyi is a better striker than Success, that Moses guy is also better than him. Even Iheanacho is on the same level as him at least. The only Higuain in the team is the same Success you're hypinng here....on top performance at U-17 African Cup sef, no be say na better competition. Bros abeg swerve jare....if he likes let him not show face in camp by Friday morning, na that time e go know how Brazil drop Kaka and how Mexico drop Hernandez. No be only Messi, na Guardiola |

I understand why u are angry, but sometimes u need to understand what some1 is going thru before u cast a stone on them, did u know he was punished for arriving late to Spain in December, did u know his grand dad who has been like a father to him died a day before he arrived Nigeria in December, did u know hos phones and some valuables where stolen from him in Nigeria?? Now let me tel u 1 secret, he was demoted to the team B because he arrived late to the team in December, and was warned that anymore mistake would cause him a serious sanction, he Is just been careful not to be in the wrong book of his payers early again, truth is he has been begging the team for a chance to link up with the u20 buh they've not given him permission to do so, and u should know he can't just walk out like that, as a matter of fact an email has been sent to the team by his management which they are yet to reply, so please its not his fault..u should understand safarigirl: |

tbaba1234:of course Success is good, nobody says he isn't, but there is an adage in Igbo land that says that when once King vacates the throne, another will occupy it. Success did not score 4 goals at the opening game at the U-17, it was a sub that took ober and managed to shine at his injury. If he never got injured, we may never have known Awoniyi and now Awoniyi gets a sure first team shirt and Success may not even get a shirt. He can lend his support by being in NZ, but making the team to the detriment of Chidera or Saviour? Diaris God sha |

Isaac case is a big conundrum. There are many standpoints to it - both moral and technical. I like to imagine that Manu Garba must be sitting up late tonight, beating his brain at a desk stacked with DVD plates of his players and trying to flesh out on paper those lucky many who will make the final cut. #i fondly hope ifeanyi Ifeanyi and ezeh scale through. |

Granada finally replied the emails when Manu gave a deadline of friday saying that they needed Success for their weekend game. Apparently, that was rejected by the NFF. 1 Like |

I understand why Coach Manu Garba and his crew are contemplating bringing in Success despite a late arrival. Success already understands the philosophy of the coaching method and has played well under the system. The Flying Eagles coaches believe in his ability to catch up and blend with the team. Also, he is in top condition playing food a club in a top league. His technical understanding and training will be in top condition. My problem is with the two days to the tournament time table. How will the coaches assess him before the competition. Also, why did Granada not keep the coaching crew of the Flying Eagles updated like Man City, Tottenham and Gent did. That is where the odds is stacked against Success when we consider Chidera Ezeh and Godwin Saviour losing their places to him. At the end, we have to trust the Flying Eagles Coaches decisions. If they feel it is okay for Success to join the team despite the challenges, then it will be for the best. |

billante: You really don't know the qualities of Ifeanyi Ifeanyi. Thank God you are not a member of the technical crew. Ifeanyi should be in the first 11 of the team. He is good technically, holds the ball well, bold, skilful and very disciplined. Chidera is young and can easily play in the next under20 .. |

safarigirl:Karma? Like seriously, im kill person? stop the hate on success, we need the best legs to lift the trophy or do you feel threatened he might relegate your boyfriend awoniyi to the bench? |
Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by safarigirl(f): 1:50am On May 14, 2015 |
Xzbit91:hahaha.....Success relegate Awoniyi to where? The Success whose fitness you're not sure of? Leave Awoniyi and bother about the likes of Moses Simon relegating your boy to third choice. It's Chidera and Saviour I worry for. Physical death is not the only death there is and if you kill someone's dream directly or indirectly, you have killed the person. That is the karma I speak of that you and your supporter apparently fail to understand. You people always need the best legs and you fail with them. Individual talent doesn't win trophies, TEAM WORK does. Go and ask Messi and Argentina instead of yarning this your 'best legs' gist. 2 Likes |
