No oooooo, once u v done the monthly subscription u don't need any wifi or do any streaming. It's not Internet sensitive, na just ur normal subscription just like normal dstv.

I really don't know how many states the drifta network covers, but m very sure it's different from normal dstv coverage.

I dnt think d one sold on jumia can be turned to a rubber pouch. No i dnt av d glass screen protector. I use the ordinary screen guard. Bought it for N150 frm a roadside fone accessories guy. wink

Okay, the problem is not the rooting but what you did after rooting.

Did you install any app that has to deal with contacts or calling like trucaller or any xposed module that interfere with contacts or syncing of contacts. Check very well. If you do, uninstall them and reboot and let's see what happens.

If after this nothing happens. Try this. Make sure all your messaging apps like whatsapp, skype, wechat, BBM etc are installed from playstore. If not, uninstall them and install the official one from play store. Do this again and let's see what happens.

Back up your apps. Do a factory reset. Install root checker to confirm if it has been unrooted or not.
