I have had a couple of heart breaks and am wondering why do they hurt so much? You will be filled with memories sometimes it affects your relationship with others that are close to you.
I have developed the attitude of moving on so easily but some people can't just let go when it comes to relationships.

I can easily move on after break ups...since i travel a lot...so no matter how hard was it, i easily recovered...but only one thing tat i keep--- the fotos...i like keeping pixxx of my exes..it made me smile whenever i see all those pixxx..i only like to look back to all those happy moments..

I have had one before and I came to realise the reason after I overcame the feeling and it is simple.

Many times when we love someone, we tend to throw caution to the wind and put in everything into the relationship. While this in itself is not a bad thing, you are responsible for your own safety and balance of mind. You should not let yourself go so much that you ignore certain signs, traits and differences between you guys. Also, many times we tend to feel the other person cannot do without us because of high sense of self or because you think because the person loves you so much he/she wont leave you.

The key to overcoming heartbreaks is to know that the person you are dating is not Jesus. People change, people leave, people betray, people get fed up, people see better options, people move on for good or bad reasons. Only Jesus stays. You have the responsibility to protect yourself by not letting yourself be consumed so much by what you feel that it beclouds your reasoning and also you have the responsibility to be a good person who within the circumstances is a good partner to your guy or babe so that when the break comes (if it comes), the feeling of justification will be a soothing balm.

Imagine puting your hope, time, resources, energy and body into a relationship, thinking it will result into marriage only for you to be dumped!

Imagine all your friends and families are aware of your relationship with him/her.

Imagine all the beautiful babes/handsome guys you repeatedly turned down because of him/her.

If after all these sacrifices the relationship crumbled and you did not feel hurt, it means something is wrong with you .

I have a friend, her ex is sending threat messages and laying curses on her. Recently, he is threating to kill her and this is affecting her present relationship. Can someone be that hurt that you can't let go?

to see how satanic it is. it is evil to the extent that it will even affect your relationship with the Lord. When i used to have a girl,i remember how she cheated on me and eventually broke up. Mehn through how that night i couldnt sleep. I had exams the next day i couldnt even write. My quiet time and spiritual devotion and church attendance reduced drastically. Because i really loved the girl and the most painful aspect was that after we parted ways, she immediately dated a guy more rich and hansome. Omor the thing pain me die. So its always more painful to the guys than girls. It took me more than 5 months to recover my losses.
