A lot of people are guilty of number 17. "Quiet" is an adjective, but, people often mispell it as Q-U-I-T-E, an adverb. |

pretydiva:People spell it wrongly dear, the same way they use it wrongly. They use quite in place of quiet and vice versa |

seunoni34: not necessarily true! they are different words with different meanings. Just that people confuse one for the other, and not necessarily misspell it. Loose = to untie, or set free. not firmly fixed. could also mean not strictly organized or controlled Lose = unable to find something. opposite of gain. defeat 1 Like |

Let's Say Lose and Loose. E.g How can you "Loose" Something you never had? Now "Loose", there is not even a Misrepresentation of Words, but A Misspelling of the Word "Lose" Same thing with "Quite and "Quiet" Even though both Words are Grammatically Correct and In the Dictionary, but when you use it in the Wrong Concept, it is considered a Misspelling. |
