damerry: HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR ALL ANDROID USERS Aii based on the fact I won't be able to attend to everyone I came up with some important codes for you to do a self repair. NB you need to study the application of the code before applying it as the only way to stop it from processing is to remove the battery from the phone Do you have an Android phone or Tablet? Do you want to or Are you having problems with your device? Is the touchscreen of your device less sensitive? Do you want to format/reset your device because of virus, application error or bugs? Here are some useful Android Secret Codes you must know: ––> PHONE INFORMATION: *#*#4636#*#* This code can be used to get some interesting information about your phone and battery. It shows following 4 menus on screen: *. Phone information *. Battery information *. Battery history *. Usage statistics ––> HARD RESET *2767*3855# Think before you dial this code. This code is used for factory format. It’ll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It’ll also reinstall the phone firmware. NOTE: Once you dial this code, there is no way to cancel the operation unless you remove the battery from the phone. So think twice before giving this code. ––> Phone Camera Update: *#*#34971539#*#* This code is used to get information about phone camera. It shows following 4 menus: *. Update camera firmware in image (Don’t try this option) *. Update camera firmware in SD card *. Get camera firmware version *. Get firmware update count WARNING: Never use the first option otherwise your phone camera will stop working and you’ll need to take your phone to service center to reinstall camera firmware. ––> End Call/Power Button *#*#7594#*#* This one is my favorite one. This code can be used to change the “End Call/Power Button” action in your phone. Be default, if you long press the button, it shows a screen asking you to select any option from Silent mode, AirPlane mode and Power off. You can change this action using this code. You can enable direct power off on this button so you don’t need to waste your time in selecting the option. ––> Quick Backup to all your media files *#*#273283*255*663282*#*#* This code opens a File copy screen where you can backup your media files e.g. Images, Sound, Video and Voice memo. ––> Test Service Mode *#*#197328640#*#* This code can be used to enter into Service mode. You can run various tests and change settings in the service mode. Below are some important Android USSD codes regarding Wireless Lan Tests, Softwares and Hardwares version: *#*#528#*#* ––> Wireless Lan Tests *#*#232338#*#* ––> Displays Wi-Fi Mac-address *#*#1472365#*#* ––> For a quick GPS test **#*#1575#*#* ––> A Different type GPS test *#*#0283#*#* ––> Packet Loop back test *#*#0*#*#* ––> LCD display test *#*#0673#*#* OR *#*#0289#*#* ––> Audio test *#*#0842#*#* ––> Vibration and Backlight test *#*#2663#*#* ––> Displays touch-screen version *#*#2664#*#* ––> Touch-Screen test *#*#0588#*#* ––> Proximity Sensor test *#*#3264#*#* ––> RAM Version *#*#232331#*#* ––> Bluetooth test *#*#7262626#*#* ––> Field test *#*#232337#*#* ––> Displays bluetooth device address *#*#8255#*#* ––> For Google Talk service monitoring *#*#4986*2650468#*#* ––> PDA, Phone, Hardware, RF Call Date firmware info *#*#1234#*#* ––> PDA and Phone firmware info *#*#1111#*#* ––> FTA Software version *#*#2222#*#* ––> FTA Hardware version *#*#44336#*#* ––> Displays Build time and change list number *#06# ––> Displays IMEI number *#*#8351#*#* ––> Enables voice dialling logging mode *#*#8350#*#* ––> Disables voice dialling logging mode **05***# ––> Execute from Emergency dial screen to unlock PUK code (SAMSUNG ONLY) *#*#7780#*#* ––> Wipe data/factory data reset It’ll remove the following things: – Google account settings stored in your phone – System and application data and settings – Downloaded applications It’ll NOT remove: – Current system software and bundled application – SD card files e.g. photos, music files, etc. NOTE: Once you dial this code, you get a prompt screen asking you to click on “Reset phone” button. So you get a chance to cancel your operation. With the knowledge of the above codes, you should be able to fix some fault on your phone by yourself. Dont rush to a phone engineer, visit Android Nigeria for solutions. |

Re: Is Your Android Phone Malfunctioning? Get Help Here by Nobody: 6:50am On May 15, 2015 |
swaggzo: What was the last application you were running before it happened? Try the following steps till you get it fixed. 1. Go to settings-apps then system ui, clear the cache memory. 2. Do a factory reset clear all the different cache (check out my previous post on hoe to wipe cache) 3. If step 1 and 2 doesn't work try installing a new launcher... (dodol) . 4. If 1 to 3 doesn't work then bro you have to find a way to upgrade your os. |
Re: Is Your Android Phone Malfunctioning? Get Help Here by Nobody: 6:59am On May 15, 2015 |
iamkingzlee: The following things can make phone hang 1. Low RAM.(random access memory) . If the RAM Is low then you have to have a memory card with enough space that can act as a 'fake RAM' 2. The memory card you are using is too big for the processor to accommodate (If you are using a 512 processor and you put a 2gig memory card you will do everything in slow motion.) 3. The cache memory is filled (the cache memory is the closest memory to the cpu. It it gets filled the speed of processing slows down) 4. Too many installed applications. Try installing an application that can reduce the number of running application. Google play Store has lots of it.. Search for speed Booster. |

Your ROM (OS) is probably corrupt. Try installing anyone. You can check my post on installing ROM or get it to Slot. |
Re: Is Your Android Phone Malfunctioning? Get Help Here by iamkingzlee(m): 11:28am On May 15, 2015 |
Bennyzino:Okay, Thank you. But, 1.The phone comes with a "1.2Ghz Quad core processor" and a 1GB RAM. I'm thinking of getting an 8Gig memory card for it. What's your opinion oga? Too small or too large to sieze the hangs? |
Re: Is Your Android Phone Malfunctioning? Get Help Here by Nobody: 11:46am On May 15, 2015 |
iamkingzlee: Too large. The processor and the RAM is low. Don't get more then 3-4 Gig SD card |
