Nope, golden mourn is from 3 years.

There is actually a thread on it on NL where a representative of the company had to come and clear the doubts as so many mothers were feeding their infants with it and thought it was right.

Kimoni is very correct. Check d pack of golden closely, u ll see whr its written 'golden morn is not an infant cereal' and u kno most infant cereals are usu 6months-3yrs. So dont gv him golden morn yet.

My dear, I am sure they'll both catch the drift on why I called them to advise you and really, their method works wonders!

To your question, luckily, I have never had cause to treat my infants for constipation, somehow, they always tolerate their formula perfectly; but as toddlers, yes; infact, severally and what I do is to give them more vegetables and fruits especially orange and bananas and encourage them to drink lot of water.

If you are breas.t feeding, you can increase your intake of fruits and vegetables as well and it will help your baby.

Hahahahah. How old is your baby? If you are ebfing, then take a lot of oranges. If baby is older than 6months, give him freshly squeezed orange juice or pureed prunes( any good supermarket will have it in stock)

Pls avoid teething medicines for
them, instead buy teething toys (teethers) that your baby can continuously chew on but you will need to constantly clean and sterilize them.

@lovina thanks dear....am nt ebf...I give formula with Heinz rice cereal and water. His 5 months old. I gave him orange juice buh he still strains to poop and His poop is very hard. Don't know wat pureed prunes are or wat dey look luk.

Increase his water intake. I hope its not packaged juice you gave him. The orange thing works very well. If you need the prunes go to the baby section of the supermarket and look for it. Its very dark in colour, its got juice and puree. Try shoprite too, they have the purity brand and its pretty cheap( 250 or so)

My baby made the same grunting noise after birth and up to 3 weeks. Then he had catarrh and it became worse. Breathing even became difficult for him. I complained to a doctor and he said to leave him dat he'd outgrow it. But it was getting worse cos he wouldn't sleep at night cos his nose was blocked as well. So, I bought ampiclox drop and gave to him. It really helped to clear his respiratory tract and he has been breathing better since then.

Maybe you should try it.
