Mine maybe a minority opinion,but I don't think jega has done so astronomically well that a successor wont be able to improve on his achievements.
He should remember that successive elections have been hugely flawed in the south south and was monumentally so in 2011 in d southeast and north central, despite his best efforts one must admit.
For having been able to write his name in history by showing uncommon zeal,honesty and courage in d midst of wolves, to give us d first democratic change of govt from one party to another,jega is a hero.But his successor has a lot of avenue to surpass Jega's tenure,if d right candidate is picked.

I can see some commenting that jega should take a bow and leave the podium when the momentum is favourable. What I deduced from their cry is the silent tears of a depraved kid. Jega is the man of the year whether you like it or not

Which fucking achievement is he talking about. Is it the election that was characterized by violence, or the under age voters or the card reader scam.

Jega should better take a bow while the ovation is still very on the high side.. he shouldn't accept any elongation after next month.. This is Nigeria.

Most of the above mentioned were beyond his control. He did his best to conduct a free and fair election, but these were beyond him;

1. Violence is police work, INEC can't control violence.

2. Do you know Aki and Paw-paw Nollywood stars? Will you deny them voting because they looked like kids? Government should have provided a unique social security number for everyone that identifies you everywhere, in banks, in the clinic, school and everything you do etc, so that when you wanna do your voter registration, you're disqualified if your age says so

And people liked your comment. Is Jega in control of Wike and Akpabio that turned Akwa Ibom and Rivers state to killing fields or is it the card readers that is threatening to expose the scams in these areas that's your problem?

I just hope the would be able to do that task perfectly and without favour because during this election we keep seeing different types of mushrooms CSO springing up just to feel their pocket and do the bidding of the politicians

Thereby seeling the CSO to the dogs and giving it a bad name and preception to the elighten public

CSO in Nigeria means "the ruling party did not consider me for appointment". Go and check all those who called themselves members of the CSO, people like Falana, Soyinka, Keyamo, Bakare, Sani Sule, Oby, Dino Milaye, etc. They are now in Buhari government or are being tipped for one appointment or another.

The last social crusader died the day Gani Fawehimwi died. These other ones are in the CSO business to line their pockets. They are all "FRAUDS".
