The only fear in investing in afriprud is dt part of their profit is from unclaimed div DT was invested. Once sec stops registrars from warehousing unclaimed div, their profit may not be sustained.

But if that happen can they go like other stocks at car park#0.50?

Afriprud is not illiquid stock...........I just can't advice anyone to buy at the current price........Alot of folks wanna buy that stock right now but there is no sign that it would up,u are just sure that if you can buy at 2.5 0r less you will definitely make over 20%.....Jumping in and out of this stock is very easy............It will never go down the lane of the insurance stocks...........

@mercylicious: A Doji isn't the feature of the last market day. And the candlestick doesn't typically suggest an impending reverse in the price action neither does it give a hint about the MM.

Overall, the momentum is clearly bearish and one would want to consolidate current holdings provided the prevailing support line isn't breached.

IMO, a keen intraday (18/05/15) monitoring is advised to know what portends in the short-term.

The fair value for this stock is above 6 naira if you know what I mean, could take one or two years to get there
Two years when custodian was selling for 1.5, I told my folks on smn that the fair value was 5. War nearly broke out that time but today, all man silent

For an ROE near 30%, the coy should not sell less than PBV of 3.

I hope you are taking on board the recent moves by the new SEC DG to compel registrars to remit back to the originating companies all unpaid dividends 12 after thieir payment dates.

It is still in consultation at the moment, it will be bad news for the likes of APR if it sees the light of the day.

I am fully invested here.
