the only things positive is that Nigerians don't wait for their government. thats why we are ahead and with generators we have produced billionaires, nollywood and Africa's largest economy.

s.a and ghana have active docile citizens always supet relying on their government to put them in their nests and drop half-chewed droppings on their open mouths.

each one of this countries has international clout, prestige, influence, power and national achievement than ghana will ever achieve until this earth ceases to exist . other than your love for your country which i admire in you, you are a category A international relations illiterate big time. let me show you how:

INDIA is the 10th biggest economic power in the whole fvcking world. it is home to Range Rover brand (yeah, bought it from Great Britain)
she is also an IT giant with collosal microsoft and Nokia presence. she is also home to TATA.

INDONESIA is in the MINT region and she is currently producing more millionares than any other country presently. yes that includes US, germany france et al

NIGERIA IS YOUR REGIONAL HEGEMONE, running more than 70% of ecowas funding, producing the 2nd fastest millionare in the world. she is also in the MINT and Africa's economic super power with $594 billion dollars.

United States Of America has got more poor people than does Sweden.

never you put India, Nigeria and Indonesia in one sentence with Ghana. i might ask the MOD to ban you for breaking the hierarchy rule. lol.

Most countries respect Ghana, can't say the same about Nigeria.

Nigeria doesn't beling on that list.

Your knowledge about South Africa is only limited to Google™. It can never surpass that limit.
Take this; i never thought inferiority will eat some one to this level :

You are either playing D.U.M.B or are one of those
naïve type Black South Africans who works for
Tiger brands and spends his weekends working
out at the Virgin Active gym on William Nicol drive
or maybe you are hidden away in one of those
suburbs in Midrand or Pretoria east.
It is well known that for years Nigerians(specifically
my flashy Igbo brothers) used to send Taxis to the
Townships on weekends to pickup your girls and
take them on shopping sprees, When the girls
return and begin to lament about how their
"Nigerian boyfriends" take care of them compared
to their South African men who usually get them
pregnant and disown the child, the men do not
take these sentiments lightly.
Johanesburgs CBD has a lot of loitering jobless
men from Alexandria, Diepsloot and other so called
"slums". They also envy a lot of the Nigerians who
are able to set up mechanic shops, restuarants,
food shops and clubs in and around CBD, Yeoville
and the likes. They are the only "Africans" that I
have observed who chastise and look down upon
their women for dating and marrying other black
African men. It is so bad that South African women
married to Nigerian men had to form an
organization just to protect themselves from
discrimination from their own. UNITED NIGERIAN
WIVES OF SOUTH AFRICA
Please let us be real here. Your people have a
problem they need to face.

One thing is sure, Ghana is TOTALLY USELESS without Nigeria and that's a fact. Nigerians run your business in the country, Nigerians own the real estate sector in Ghana, we own everything down to your entertainment industry.. Ghanaian musicians are queuing up just to sing along side tuface, dbanj, wizkid, davido etc..Your actors can't succeed without nollywood..Even ur babes are dying for Nigerian men..So my brother, to you Nigeria is incompetent but reality, Ghana is dead on arrival without Nigeria. Take it or leave it.
lol this is so laughable. Nigerians are really a funny bunch. 1 moment you are calling Ghana all sorts of names the next minute you are bragging you run our economy. In your dreams. If it makes you feel better and sleep better that you run Ghana then so be it. Travel to Ghana and see exactly what your people are doing here that is running the economy. At the bolded which babe's exactly cos have been trying to find these so called babe's that are so in love with you except the ashawos of course. Believe me this is far from the truth. I would say the opposite is more of the case. A few does not represent the majority trust me.

very stupid set of people. I look at the people making jest of Ghana and I remember what I went through last week. Am currently in Nigeria for some biz. I got to the fuel station. The queue I saw I have never seen before. In the long run I could not get fuel so I had to follow public transport. I stood at the bus stop from ikeja for close to 45 mind. The one that came charged an outrageous 300 naira for ikeja to yaba. I got in. If u see how the conductor was raining insults in every passenger. He had no manners or orientation. I was like what kind of sadistic life is this. Everyone just so gloomy. Not caring for the person next to them. For those Nigerians that know what am talking about. If the rubbish you see on a day to day is not enough to protest for change then I don't know what the Bleep is on your heads!
Come home sugar. Things will be better. We need to hold our government accountable. We put them in power for a reason and we can take them out. They cannot just do whatever they like. We are Ghanaians and I don't care what anybody else thinks or says about our country as long as we are doing what we believe is good for ourselves.

How does that give hope to the many hopeless in your hellhole who have now turned to religion, hoping stone turn into bread? Whatever we may be facing, it's still much much better than the living nightmare that you lot call life in that ditch. And South Africa is a country miles & miles away from you, so her problems are really none of your fùcking business. He was born in Hohoe, in the Volta Region of Ghana. He arrived in the United States in the late 1980s with only a High School diploma from the Adisadel College in Cape Coast, Ghana and 'A' levels from Swedru Secondary School . Shortly after his arrival in the United States, he enrolled at Rutgers University where he set out to pursue a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

After graduation, he contemplated a return to Ghana to pursue an interest in the development of various solar gadgets and merchandize, including solar freezer, solar air conditioning, solar water heater, solar lamps, etc. He believed strongly that, for Africa to develop, it must utilize its natural resources and must incorporate technologies that benefits the continent. He considered the sun to be a natural resource and its harness and utilization may be of great benefit to the continent.

Kludze, who grew up in Dansoman-Sahara, a suburb of Accra, made a name for himself as a young genius, who was fascinated with science at an early age; he had a reputation for questioning almost everything, and also for his unusual “domestic scientific experiments” and thinking.

His love of science began at an early age; his parents once remarked that they were fearful to leave him at home in case he dismantled the radio.[4] At friends’ houses, he would take apart their televisions to see how they worked. By his own admission, Kludze’s fascination with aviation began with a trip to the airport in Accra as a young boy. His father had intended him to become a lawyer but supported him regardless in his ambitions.[4]
Career

Kludze has held positions at various NASA Centers including the NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia and NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, where he became if not the first African, the first Ghanaian to ever fly (command and control) a Spacecraft in Orbit (including the ERBS and TRMM Spececrafts, etc. for NASA from a mission control center).[5]

He designed the Human Locator System, which he called the "HuLos" in partial fulfillment of the requirements for his Masters degree at the Johns Hopkins University. The HuLos uses nanotechnology (microscopic technology) and is intended to locate human beings anywhere on this planet using satellite communication, GPS and other technologies. What made the system unique at the time of its conception, though considered weird by even his advisor, were the miniaturized size and the concept of global location. The device is to be implanted under the human skull, skin bone or teeth and activated when required. The system as envisioned could be used e.g. in locating missing children, the elderly, stolen cars and hardened criminals. The thesis which contains the design is currently at the Applied Physics Laboratory of the Johns Hopkins University.

In 2004, Kludze and a group of NASA engineers developed the Extravehicular Activity Infrared (EVA IR) camera for space-walking astronauts. The EVA IR camera was designed to fulfill a critical inspection need for the Shuttle Program; the on-orbit IR Camera can detect crack and surface defects in the Reinforced Carbon-Carbon (RCC) sections of the Space Shuttle's Thermal Protection System. This camera may help discover and prevent some of the problems leading to the disintegration of the Space Shuttle Columbia.

Kludze was selected to join the NASA Engineering and Safety Center (NESC), an organization made up of some of NASA's best and brightest, created after the Columbia incident, as a systems engineering expert. Before joining the NESC, Kludze was the manager of NASA Langley's state-of-the-art Integrated Design Center (IDC) which he helped to develop. He was also the Traceability and Verification Manager for the CALIPSO spacecraft. His pioneering work in systems engineering has been published worldwide; he has a number of publications, several NASA and external awards and recognitions to his credit. Kludze will be involved in several space initiatives including the implementation of the U.S. President's Space Exploration Vision to the Moon, Mars and beyond.[6]

Kludze holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in engineering.

For his distinguished achievements, Dr. Kludze was in 2002 recognised and honoured at the Second Biennial Adisadel College Excellence Awards at a ceremony at the State House in Accra, by the Adisadel College Old Boy's Association and the College.

For his outstanding accomplishments in Space Science and Technology, he was profiled on Cable News Network (CNN) and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The following links should take you to the CNN documentary and the BBC feature article:

you really don't know much. MINT is the acronym for the newest 4 countries emerging as economic powers namely Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria and turkey. two years ago, it was BRICs namely Brazil, Russia, India and China.

We didn't ascribe it to ourselves, the world did. the 60% is your own way of easing your hurt and envy.

Nigeria has a bigger and larger middle class than ghana. as well our upper class is also miles ahead.

when it comes to countries, you do not compare ghana to nigeria.

you belong to the medium class. go ask Mr Annan.

My stating that NIGERIA IS THE ONLY AFRICAN IN NASA was an oversight .

what i meant is that NIGERIA WAS THE ONLY AFRICAN IN THE NASA 9 MEMBER BOARD CHARGED BY NASA TO LEAD ITS AEROSPACE SAFTY PANEL

Impress my male compatriots for what? I don't want them so it makes no sense that I'd be impressing them. Just don't mention my country & I'll purr like a kitten because I actually am a putthycat grin
Of course you don't want them; once you catch the naija fever,it becomes a one way traffic. everyone else seem dead.

there's no way Nigeria will cease mentioning S.A , neither will S.A quit mentioning Nigeria.

we have come to part no more. 1994 WAS WHEN THE DIE WAS CAST.

achimotan thanks a lot. You see these mofos make too much noise and feel that the world revolves around them. There are alot if Africans in NASA. Playing key roles and not making noise. The sad part is the he gets his news like it's from the village town crier.. In addition to your point. We also have Francis allotey. A mathematical physicist.. He was the key person in calculating the speed for one of the space shuttle to pass through earth into the orbit. He is also
Created The Allotey Formalism". the technique used to
determine matter in outer space, which has helped NASA and other space agencies explore space. There are alot of them making africa proud yet stay humble Some empty headed peeps just like to brag

Well, whatever. What Nigerian "flare" are you talking about because I'm only using words I've learned here.

Ha ha ha. I don't date Nigerians though. I'm not here looking for a guy because I have one so I don't need to impress anyone, is what I meant.

your profile came out dry.

and the giant stuff isn't a myth.

let me give you a long excerpt to digest. it's a BBC poll conducted on Nigeria leadership potential and role in Africa in a honest, unbiased way.

Here is the reaction from South Africa when the BBC correspondent ask the question on Nigeria leading Africa:

No, is the view from Johannesburg. Economically,
Nigeria's newly inflated gross domestic product
(GDP) means very little here.
We know that these are just re-arranged numbers
on some bureaucrat's spreadsheet, and that our
economy is still more diversified, sustainable and
ultimately attractive to investors.
Our real concern is political. Nigeria and South
Africa are locked in a fierce tussle over who will be
the African superpower, and Nigeria has just
robbed us of our most potent advantage.
South Africa's pre-eminence in continental affairs,
and its membership of institutions such as the
G20 and Brics , as well as a potential permanent
seat on the UN Security Council, rests on its claim
to be Africa's largest economy.
That title now belongs to Nigeria, which is also
Africa's most populous country. So, who should
be represented on these bodies?
South Africa's concerns are compounded by fears,
expressed privately by government officials and
diplomats, that chaotic, corruption-prone Nigeria
is unfit to assume the mantle of continental
leadership.
Most South Africans would tend to agree: The
perception persists of Nigerians as drug dealers
and 419 scammers, making it hard for Nigeria to
be taken seriously here.
