Now that the tyranny personified has taken over the steering of the "country" created for us by slave traders!

He will grant amnesty to Boko Haram, put them on salaries.
He will then seek to put a "final" end the "enemies" of Nigeria from the Niger Delta and Biafra.

People like Asari will put up an armed resistance and the Circle of Blood will continue.

Yet, the truth is this:

The trouble created in Africa by the brutish British can only be solved the day Africans decide to tell themselves the truth.
The only way Nigeria can survive is a convocation of a SUPREME SOVEREIGN National Conference, where EVERYTHING including SECESSION must be discussed.

For now, we wait for the uncertainties. Like I know some Nigerians are already celebrating the future killings of some Niger Deltans, bt would that stop the movement?

this is very stupid.. when will these people realize Asari is using them to bolster his pockets? All the money he collected during Jonathans reign, what did he do with it? Even if they give the Niger Deltans more money, it still wont make it to the masses.. Majority of their problems come from their leaders, they need to push this Asari guy out.. Between allocations, contracts and settlement they have been given, there is no reason why there shouldn't be reasonable development in Niger Delta.. my only problem is companies that are drilling need to be held to a higher standard, you cant just pollute communities the way they do and not do anything about it.. If they faced the same penalties they faced in the US and Europe for pollution, they would be more careful..

WE have for 40 years done all things possible to belong, I know for a fact, no other region will tolerate what we tolerated for 40 years. Jonathan was the final straw.

How this one event woke up domicile people is the icing on this cake. Suddenly, many are volunteering both time and money. To God be the glory.

The herd mentality at play. Many will lose their lives while others get their pockets filled. Isn't it obvious that the likes of Dokubo are only fighting for their pockets?

I really don't know... I have been trying to come up with possible answers why GEJ did not ensure vital infrastructural development that'll be a catalyst for rapid growth for the lower niger... and the only or main thing I can come up with is the same thing that Ironsi did which also led to his undoing - want to appease the North in order to avoid being accused of favoritism... its too late to learn a lesson after exams are over, he should have seen that no matter what he did, that he was going to be criticized; so spending those years to be sure sure sure that before polls are up again, a huge project or two would have been set up in a part of the country that has been kept at the back burner for years.
I am disappointed that he didn't play his cards well. pretty much played into the hands of the opposition and they seized the opportunity. Maybe my governor could have introduced him to POD 101 - political Opposition Dissolvement... he gathered everyone that mattered or that counted as politicians in the state under one umbrella, thereby, not only isolating OUK but ensuring that he was returned for a second term due to lack of a strong opposing candidate.[/quote]
You are missing the point corruption!!!, ask yourself is it so bad to build our own refineries?, why did people like this Asari and co take to the streets and protest, why are we buying petrol from india?, look nigeria had the money to build what it needs it was our leaders that refuse to do it, how can u build a sea port when everybody just wants to chop, if corruption is not stealing pls do not complain of lack of development, sorry bros your governor's POD 101 is just more of the same

Chai,Asari dokubo should be the last man to spearhead this course, but he chose to join the looting clique.I have lost my respect for that guy. Under jonathan, he had the ample opportunity to change the destiny of the niger deltans, but he choe to fill his insatiable potbelly first. So much for a self-proclaimed freedom fighter. We know the enemies of the niger delta people.

Where have you been hiding when goodluck was president?
Or now that he is no more, you want a referendum?
The struggle is now more important than ever with the north and southwest declaring that the whole country is now 'oil producing host community'. It is high time that these jokers are reminded on what constitutes 'host communities' because we all know that Nigerians have very short memories.

There is nothing wrong in holding meetings and also nothing wrong in a struggle geared towards the betterment of the people of the Niger Delta. My advise is that we should give Buhari a chance and see what he has to offer, who knows, he might turn out to be a blessing for the region. Jonathan was there for over 5yrs and nothing to show for it even in the Niger Delta! I am still at a shock today that Jonathan could not ensure that Ibaka seaport at Akwa Ibom was given priority and completed before the end of his tenure. One vital thing we need for a massive turnaround in the East would be a functioning seaport capable of berthing large ocean liners so that our people can massively divert their import activities to the East but the stark reality is that Jonathan failed. He also promised to build a second Niger bridge before 2015 and here we are in 2015 and the bridge has not been built.

What if Buhari builds that seaport? What if Buhari eventually builds that second Niger bridge?

I am really angry with Jonathan. angry
I agree with u bro but d ND already has 3 sea ports. I think miltancy and piracy in d region has scared away a lot biz. But asari and co are still thinking of destroying what's left of d region cos of their selfish interest

South Sudan went through the same faze but after the independence started fighting each other....
The south south states already receive the highest allocations but 16years of pdp rule what do they have to show for it...
Even if it is necessary to get independence from Nigeria...Asari Dokumbo and the rest of the selfish bastards are the kind of people you want to lead your fight for independence because after the independence has been achieved they would only burn the south south into aches...

Why are you trying to tribalise the thread? If we have another major seaport in the East would it not be good for Nigeria as a whole? It is too bad that as big as we are we are all struggling to bring in goods through Apapa, it makes no sense bro.
there are 3 seaports serving both d SS and SE. They are warri, PH and calabar ports. Am sure u are aware that u can't build a sea port in any of d ibo states. So let's b realistic not sentimental. D reason these ports aren't as vibrants as lagos is majorly cos of militancy and piracy. Militancy scares away a lot of biz. So folks in d ND need 2 start asking themselves d right questions. D focus of asari and co should b on how 2 make their region conducive so as 2 attract businesses aNd investments instead of all this their thuggery and harassment

What Jonathan did any other who doesn't want to shed blood will do.
People should stop saying Jonathan did nothing except u are referring to Niger Delta.
The roads, Companies, Car plants are all under GEJ admin to an extend, Nigeria is seen as best place for potential investment and if Buhari settles, more investors will surely come.
Let the Niger Deltas prepare for the future.
There is nothing wrong except BMG goes for witch hunt which Amaechi has listed some names.
It is worth giving GMB a trial but he also should know that the Niger Delta needs to be developed.
Yaradua gave contract to east west only while Jona gave more contracts to North and SW.
GMB should brain himself with programs to help people of the ND as GEJ did for the Almajiris.
He should not go for fight, he isn't a better fighter to OBJ who really did not help matters.

Under Obasanjo, this baboon called Asari Dokubo was in jail. He is an enemy of the state of Nigeria and the federal government should treat him as such. The buffon keeps threatening national security.

how many states in the north do we have the almajiri school and what has being its impact since its creation.abt the universities u mentioned according to the presidency they wanted all states without federal universities to have one,so its no fault of the north if more of the unis were cited in the region it only shows there are more states in the north without federal unis than in the south or west or east.u mentioned railway i think those route u talked abt have being in existance for long.buying refurbished train dosent equate to building new tracks. Massive road projects in the north pls stop dis joke. jonathan didnt do anything for any region stop making baseless statements dat he favoured the north.the man failed everybdy.
For some of U,U have programmed Ur senses to write off every good deed of Jonathan.
But for me,I'm wishing he had done just 2 things for d south.Rail track from lagos to Onitsha to Enugu and port Harcourt and then dredging of d sea port in Akwa Ibom or Rivers.
Give credit to whom it is due bro.

The people of Scotland asked for self determination and a referendum was conducted, those who mooted the idea of self determination were not killed. Why will Buhari kill Asari for asking for his freedom? Is it by force to live together? Let us not bury our head in sand and become chronically unreasonable because of our love for ijaw oil.
