In a statement on its official website, the White House, noted that the emerging entrepreneurs from across the US and around the world were brought together to create innovative solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges, including poverty, climate change, extremism, access to education and health care.

Jaiyeoba, who is a Nelson Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leaders, founded Mothers Delivery Kits in 2013 to address maternal and child mortality resulting from unhygienic and unsafe deliveries in Nigeria, after losing a close friend to childbirth. I'm Adepeju Jaiyeoba, founder of Mothers Delivery Kit as well as Brown Button Foundation. Just a few points to note:

1. All my life, I have had honest dealings with people and I will not let you or anyone malign my character which I have worked hard to build. I could have put this news up nairaland myself but I do what I do because I love it and not in anticipation of any reward or recognition.

2. It is understandable to be jealous or even envious of progress and achievements but please let that only spur us to do more for the people and our community.
