Although It is introduced as 20km, I know the first hand that AselFlir-300T has a detection range of 25km. MMW radar has a range of 40km. Turkey always tend to introduce the ranges on downgraded scales, especially for radar and missiles.

Considering that nature of debate in this forum you cannot expect me to take your word for it.

Not only did you misread my initial comment, you simply refused to follow simple instructions.

I said, go back, re-read my question to that individual, but you blatantly refused.

Your lack of attention to details, refusal to take instruction and an inability to understand questions asked, is your undoing not mine.

I did not misread your initial statement. It was clear as night and day and I asnwered it.

You did not once state that you had added content. If you had I would have re-read it.

Instead you implied that I did not understand the question and that my response was brash - when it was you who posted an improperly formed question, not me.

In your own video it says 20km

Weblinks say +/- 20 km.

Video says 20 km.

The guy that posted says 25 km. Fair enough.

Now it's at least clear at 20 km.

So you tell us the FLIR range for Rooivalk now, I have asked you 3 times !

You simply misread my question to him. He described the men as "Nigerian student pilots".

So i asked him, not you, based on that description, "what platform the Nigerians are training on".

While you jumped out of nowhere and claimed they are part of a Nigerian delegation at an expo.

So, not only did you not understand my comment to him, you simply did not obey simple instructions to re-read my post.

The premise on which you made the comment was flawed right from the start.

Next time, read the comment properly, understand them, then you make your submission.

You always seem to be overrun by the rush of blood to your brain.

I made a littile search and I realized that Nigeria is operator of Cobra-I armoured vehicles developed by Otokar.

Otokar is one of the biggest land vehicle manufacturer institute of Turkey which is charged to develop Turkey's main battle tank called Altay. It is in trial phase at present and planned to pass into serial production in 2017. Hope to see more cooperations regarding Altay MBT.

So what? I should leave Nairaland for you or what?

It is this sort of propaganda mud they keep feeding you South-Africans.

-The Rooivalk is the best Helicopter in the world nobody wants.

- you killed 1500 enemy soldiers in the CAR yet only a few hours later, Seleka took the capital.

- you need 32 Helicopters, but you only got 12, with only 10 in active service.

- It is the best Helicopter in the world, yet has a terrible weight to load ratio, with poor sub-standard avionics and an obsolete radar.

- it is the only Helicopter in the world to do a backflip yet the lynx has been doing so since the 80's.

This is exactly why we reject South-African links in this forum.

How many countries buy submarine in this world? Almost every country buys helicopters, even Sierra Leone bought combat helicopter.

Rooivalk sales in 25 years = 12 units
T-129 sales in 5 years = 60 units.....and more to be sold soon to Nigeria and Pakistan.

Rooivalk is obsolete and a failure shocked shocked

Sales indicate nothing!

The Rooivalk out performs the A/T-129.

Its funny how all South African sources are propaganda but all Nigerian sources are fact grin grin

Anyway, Only later models of the Apache were able to do Backflips, the fact still remains that when the Rooivalk came out it was the only helicopter in the world able to do backflips.
