he has to denounce his U.S. Citizenship and return the passport to become Nigerian President. Your son being born in the U.S. rules out his dual citizenship as regards Nigeria. He would always need a visa to come to Nigeria.
are you a nigerian constitutional lawyer? And what authority are you sighting this from? Have you read 42(2) 1999 constitution as amended and chapter 3 section 25-30 of the 1999 constitution of Nigeria as amended

Whites:

It's not a question of winning, but rather of eligibility. Whether you are eligible to vie is a question that is addressed at the very beginning, not when you win.

Also, like Tvegas mentioned, if you're not sure about something, then I'm not sure why you feel so compelled to come on here and want to sound like an authority. It's especially annoying when you make it seem like you know everything and that your position is always the correct one, based on what you recently stated to be "based on your experience"- This, coming from someone who has been in the US for less than a year, and on an F1 visa to boot.
Seems you got issh with me being in the USA right, are u here to validate a claim or beef. I and tvegas both gave a link, it wasnt as if I just posted just what I feel like , I did a research and also posted a reference. I didn't force anyone to accept what I have said. Whites y evils na cheesy cheesy cheesy. I will let it slide.

Remeber 2 people can't have the same opinion. People shouldNt come here and cuss down another person if the opinion doesn't go down well with them.

Btw,Wat if am married and a permanent resident right now cheesy cheesy.

I think you should take a chill pill because both posters sighted authorities to back up whatever they said and according to the law no authority is false, an authority can only be amended and that is why we have the clause "as amended " in law

Heyysss, U shuld take a chill pill too. Otha pple corrected her but she insist on arguing a point that has no legal basis on top F1 visa. When 2 or 3 people correct you on samething you shoul check wella.

I don't think you people should always say F1 visa F1 visa it is getting so unbecoming really, how do you know the other has a legal basis?

@Poster,The bolded is false. And you should stop making authoritative statements on topics you haven't fully researched. You are already sounding like a supreme court judge here, yet this is actually a matter that the supreme court has not RULED on because no litigant has followed through with it. Those who wanted to argue it in court against Mccain even pulled back because its a futile exercise. grin

1. Mccain was born in Panama, he ran against Obama in 2008.
2. Barry Goldwater was born in the Arizona territory before it was a state,he ran in 1909.
3.Mitt Romney’s father, George, ran for president in 1968, though he was born in Mexico.
4. Like @Amother4life told you Ted cruz was born in Calgary canada,he is running in 2015.

All of them have found their defense in the congressional act of 1790 which states that: “And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens.”

Thats one of the solutions for the Section 1, Article II of the U.S. Constitution that you quoted. Another congressional act in 1795 issued a similar assurance, though it changed the language from “natural born citizen” to “citizen.”But the State Department clarifies the issue, saying that the 1790 language is honored under section 301(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

A child can be born in Sambisa Forest as far as he has either parents as american citizens he will be fine. This issue of "natural born citizen" is mere controversy and there are plans to amend the constitution to clarify this confusion. If you need sources and textbooks on this matter,i will oblige you. I hereby rest my case.

TVegas,
I respect your contributions a lot. you are really one hell of a guy. u are always top notch in research. Your analysis now should open all our eyes and put paid to this argument. we all learn everyday . Thanks man

@Tvegas,
I'm making a clarification on John McCain's birth situation.
He wasn't just born in panama, he was born at the coco solo naval air station which like all consulates/embassies is US soil.

Yes it's true. But some nut heads even argued that he was born in Panama town not the naval base. Meanwhile which kain name be "coco solo"........sounds like coco mansion. grin

Somebody posted this a long time ago.
Full blood count (CBC complete, ultrasound scan, hepatitis b (HBSAG), hepatitic C,HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphillis, rubella, papsmear, urinalysis, blood group. Genotype (Haemoglobin), Glucose Tolerance Test (to rule out gestational diabetes), Group B Strep test,

Thanks.

Okay my hospital didn't give me that. They initially gave me a fit to fly and a letter which stated. my LMP, EDD and what injections I had taken (Tetanus and Fansidar). I had to beg them to include my scan breakdown and one lab result (which they attached a photocopy). They didn't order a papsmear till I had a case of what I suspected was Sciatica and the results were not included with what they gave me. Yes they knew I was travelling and insisted all I needed was the initial 2 letters until I spoke to one of the doctors privately. I wonder why they didn't give me the full records though and they made me pay for them... sad

I never mentioned anything like enlist for the army but the point I am trying to make is that you can have dual citizenship in nigeria and contest for any political post because Sec 42(2) 1999 constitution as amended will avail you

God bless you Tvegas, was going to respond to @Zee but didnt want it to look like i was always picking on what the person was saying (soory dont know if you are male/female :-))

If I am not sure about something I will say MAYBE and this is why I THINK..... Please stop misleading people with information, they will have been better off if you just pointed them to materials to read. Even TVegas that is not staying in the US has done his homework and has found out the information the OP needed.

God Bless all!!!
