chloe7:that's is not my stand. I am aware they can get dual citizenship. Even in U.S. when you want to run for office you have to denounce your nigerian citizenship and sometimes some government positions. Now, I need a link that justify a dual citizen ship holder from running for office without denouncing the other. Thanks 4 Likes |

ewa2014: You may notify them about the change in destination,we did before my wife travelled but in your case I don't think it's compulsory. The change of intent letter should cover all that. Explain yourself if questioned at the border. |

nefertitiram: I think he is saying one can obtain dual citizenship but might have to denounce one in special conditions. Eg; when vying for the office of the President in Nigeria, you have to denounce your US citizenship. Also, one will have to denounce Nigerian citizenship to be a military personnel in the US.
