Yesterday 20th May 2015, The All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled its policy agenda during a conference at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. The agenda’s main focus is on curtailing corruption, reviving the economy and building a larger capacity. The event was attended by experts from various fields, industry leaders, politicians, and business moguls from within and outside of Nigeria. I saw the various photographs on Sahara Reporters' web page, but just one of them caught my attention. The former Governor of Ekiti, Adesegun Oni, appears to either be sleeping, meditating, speaking with the Gods or pressing his phone like the woman in the pix. Whatever he was doing, body no be firewood

Ok Maybe he is Japanese...the fact is, when Japanese close their eyes in meetings, most of the time they aren’t actually asleep! Often, closed eyes are a sign that a Japanese person is listening intently. Japanese believe that by closing their eyes, they can hear more effectively, because they are screening out the visual stimulus and focusing only on the sound. Because Japanese find it challenging to listen to English conversations for long stretches of time, they are especially likely to use this technique in meetings with Americans.
