Adesiji77: Well....you didn't provide sufficient details for one to really know what the situation is like, e.g, maybe you didn't submit the application and just left it till it expired, maybe you submitted and didn't register on jobbank, maybe you didn't even start the EE application proper and only did the Canadatool initial assessment where you were given a code to use to register for EE proper which you didn't use at all and it expired, you may need to explain better. Creating a new profile while having an existing one doesn't harm you, since the initial one is not active. Proof of funds changed for the amount required sometime this year, that made some people whose account says are eligible suddenly become ineligible, maybe the funds you are quoting is what the problem is. Having said that tho, I don't know why you are no longer eligible but if you can give some of your details, one may be able to know why. One other factor may be if your IELTS has expired cuz the validity is only for two years |

yeyeobab: Your question can be best answered by the Canadian Minister in charge of immigration I learnt he was to do a sort of press conference in the afternoon Tuesday, maybe he would have addressed the issue on there. |

JesusDWay: Yea. It stopped later at night. To my surprise, I received a mail after submission, stating that I am ineligible for express entry. I am yet to figure out what went wrong cos I passed the eligibility test, and an estimate of my fsw mark is 69. |

Kirri: HI KIRRI, They do that if your result dont really match. e.g if you scored 8 in reading and 4 in writing. It rings a bell so they look for your script to reassess it. No worries. It will soon be out 1 Like |

o2: Fret not thyself sis! Wait all the days of thy appointed time until your change comes....lol. We really don't know what's going on, folks are just making wild guesses like, they have a lot of backlog from previous years, etc. Let's just pray and hope for the best. Meanwhile, you may want to look at improving your score majorly through writing another IELTS or prospecting for a PNP. Saskatchewan's own is yet to commence but might start very soon. You may check out their website and find the list of occupation they need people for to see if yours is there - http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/express-entry . You can then quickly gather all required docs just in case your profession is there and be prepared so when they open it, you quickly apply before the 1000 people they need gets taken fast(the one they did in January for 500 people maxed out possibly in like 30mins) |

Morning gud people. Please I started an e.e profile some days back, completed a whole lot of required information etc but could not submit to enter into the pool due to delay from Wes which is still lingering. I ve 60 days to submit my profile and dat 60 days xpired 2day. My question is since I did not submit my profile before xpiration of 60 days would it in any way affect my application again if I use same details I use the first time after getting my Wes? I feel since I have not submitted den it wont count in anyway becos it was work in progress. Clear me pls. Tnkx. |

Hi Guys, I applied for the EE alone because my husband was not keen on sitting for the IELTS and getting a ECA. My question is, if I eventually get ITA and PR would it be easy for him to join me later? If yes, under what program can one file for a spouse as a permanent resident? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by mozo: 11:23am On May 21, 2015 |
Julietdanny: The EE program is all about the total points you can obtain, which will qualify you to be considered.. Hence madam, you need all the points you can get... 6.5 isn't a bad score, and it's not that good either. If you can find other means of adding to your points (Provincial Nominee, getting a job over there) that'll be great, if you have the luxury of taking the test again and improving on your previous score, that'll be great as well. Now if you apply as a single mother, it might boost your score, it might be real tacky and complicated.. although am not sure if you mean you'll say your not married, but bear in mind those cic guys are smart sha For now,try and boost your points via other means.. just my two cents |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by mozo: 11:28am On May 21, 2015 |
sophisticat: Well if you state in your application that you are married, although you applied alone. and then you go on to get your PR.. It will even be easier for your husband to come join you over there..Considering of course, all the right documents are in place. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by sophisticat: 11:30am On May 21, 2015 |
mozo: Thanks Mozo, yeah I stated in my application that I am married and also have POF to cover the family. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by mozo: 11:31am On May 21, 2015 |
ejirostephen: You asked the question and you answered it lol.. It will not count because you have not submitted. Just create another profile with the same details..The Good thing be say, its free to create profile..lol |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by GFavor: 11:54am On May 21, 2015 |
Hello House, I just checked their site for Education eligibility and saw that there are no Engineering field for approved degree. Does that mean if your first degree is Engineering you cannot apply this year? Note: Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zandora: 12:11pm On May 21, 2015 |
GFavor: There is no specific approved degree, you can apply with any degree. However to score 23 points for Education towards the eligible 67 points, you must have either a Master's degree in any field or a University level entry-to-practice professional degree in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy. This is because in some countries like the UK for example, there is nothing like a BSc in Pharmacy, you have to complete an automatic Master's. Hope this helps. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by JesusDWay(m): 7:53pm On May 21, 2015 |
vigho: From what i learnt, CES takes a lot of time before they complete the evaluation, WES is your best bet kindly dont waste your time with CES. You may however google and locate their site and peruse for yourself the information you need if you re still keen on using them. Also, i dont think your grade really matters in evaluation, all they just want to determine is the equivalent of your post secondary programme in Canadian educational system, not your class of degree or cgpa |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by JesusDWay(m): 7:59pm On May 21, 2015 |
dober: It could be either the funds you quoted or if you indicated you don't have ECA of your qualification. Another is that you are supposed to get a 67/100 on the fsw scale before you can be eligible. Use the below link to check: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp |
