As he is leaving office now, what about his Supervisors at the doctorate and master's level respectively. Any compensation for their efforts in making him rise to the top...Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice -President, Acting President and President of 5years plus. What appointments can he give them? I am sure some of them may have retired from public service.

I propose he rewards them for their selfless service especially in preparing him mentally in this meteoric rise.

Congratulations to Prof Etebu who was one of most admired lecturers in the department, handled industrial engineering.
Former Gov Alamiesiagha appointed her as Commissioner of Special duties as he was encouraged to see an Ijaw woman with 4 masters degree (Mech, Chem, Indust, Process). She is quite an intelligent woman and really deserves to be in that position.

Jonathan, - only thing he seems to understand about political power is appointing people to office.

How can she manage the school, will she give what she doesn't have? Does she know anything about ports, dry ports, vessels turn-around-time, cargoes, ships, containers, handling capacity of any port etc Or can she evaluate the criteria for siting and development of seaports in any part of this country? Not even Marine Engineering. Let GEJ come to the departments of Transport Management Technology and Maritime Management Technology in F.U.T.O. to pick the new V.C., we have competent professors and Ph.D holders in these departments who I know very well will handle the affairs of the university and take us who have M.Sc certificates in Maritime Management Technology as lecturers so that we can unload the cargoes (the knowledge) we have loaded for 7 years to the ports (brains) of the students. By so doing, this institution will be a university to reckon with, as it will be filled with qualified personnels who know their right from left hand in transport, marine and maritime industries.

my friend shut the hell up. Is marine technology not a subset of mechanical engineering? VC function is largely administrative. Is she going to class to teach anybody any course? What about buhari that didn't complete form five that u voted to rule this country. Or Amaechi with a 3rd class in English studies. Did VCs of all the universities anywhere in the world study all the courses in the universities they are supervising are offering? Just thank God it was not let for buhari to come and appoint a zamfara man with OND in Islamic studies to become the VC of the university.
