bidexiii:Firstly the source you are referring to said it was possibly the best when the Rooivalk first came out, meaning in the early Nineties! Which BTW it was! Secondly here is a none South African source that also prove my claims: http://www.military-intellisense.com/air/ah2rooivalk.html "And the up-side down does not last more than 2 mins, give me citation that states so ? " WTF is this? Im the one telling everybody a helicopter CANT fly inverted for more than a few seconds, it scientifically impossible for any helicopter in the world to fly inverted for more than a few seconds, I even corrected my own countrymen on this fact! |

agaugust: 1. Britain is building a carrier and china is still figuring out how to use theirs - not in reserve you id.iot 2. You dont need carrier air-cover off your own coast as that is provided by land based aircraft 3. Yes - THE BRITISH CARRIER SAVED THEIR NAVY IN A CAMPAIGN BASED ON FORCE PROJECTION Facts are that carriers are only needed for force projection. Navies with a defensive orientation do not need carriers, or else countries like Korea/Japan/Turkey would have them. |

patches689: LOL....I just ruined your argument of conventional war War ended on Iraqi territory according to you? Citation needed. The war ended on both territories, on land, air and sea of both countries. PROOF: Location: Iran–Iraq border Result: Stalemate Iraqi failure to annex territories on the east bank of the Shatt al-Arab and bolster Arab separatism in the region of Khuzestan Iranian failure to invade and capture Iraqi territory and to topple Saddam Hussein UNSC Resolution 598 The last notable combat actions of the war took place on 3 August 1988, in the Persian Gulf when the Iranian navy fired on a freighter and Iraq launched chemical attacks on Iranian civilians, killing an unknown number of them and wounding 2,300. Who won the war? Nobody.....that wrecks your argument like a ship struck my Otomat missile . |

NATO has NEVER and will NEVER defeat Taliban in Afghanistan. Nigerian army is the only one that can do it ! . |

jln115: Insanity is keep doing same thing over and over again ! Ur source ; http://www.military-intellisense.com/air/ah2rooivalk.html ,is only giving specifications on rooivalks, in which I assume its the latest rooivalks. "cos the site is dated 2014" if am right ? Let me sound it to u clearly so that we get each other right what we are saying is a or couple of decades give me a citation of the then rooivalk and where it says its the first to do a back flip, cos I assume a lot of upgrades would av being done on it by now ! Please accept defeat humbly every normal military researchers know that the lynx's and apache's where the 1st set of military craft to do a back flip, before ur denel rooivalks started . Comparing the old apache specification to the new rooivalks , the old apache beats the rooivalks hands down . Here is a shot brief history on the apache ; www.boeing.com/history/products/ah-64-apache.page 2 Likes 1 Share |

patches689: Fool, Iran- Iraq was is universally declared a stalemate with NO WINNER and declared so by United Nations resolution 598 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_598 You can to Wikipedia and delete war history again as usual, then declare Iran the winner of s stalemated war....Fraudster "Iran and Iraq Accept Peace Terms (Aug, 1988): In July of 1988, when Iran had been pushed out of Iraq, while suffering invasions from Iraqi forces inside its own borders once again, it agreed to UN-established peace terms (a return to the status quo from before the war). Iraq was not prepared to accept peace terms while it was making advances into Iran . But by August, its efforts had bogged down, compelling Iraq to also agree to peace terms, ending the war." http://www.worldology.com/Iraq/iran_iraq_war.htm . |

patches689: No big deal, I did not see that line about flying upside down then, but I see it now. Prints were so tiny to read. Only problem is that your source`s claim is still FALSE INFORMATION, the Lynx helicopter has been flying upside down since 1970s before Rooivalk came in 1980s. So, we still win "The history of the Lynx began around the mid-1960s. This resulted in the design and successful production of the world’s first complete aerobatic helicopter – a helicopter which by 1972 began breaking world speed records." http://armedforcesmuseum.com/united-kingdoms-westland-lynx-helicopter/ LYNX IS FIRST HELICOPTER IN THE WORLD TO FLY UPSIDE DOWN AND DO BACK FLIPS IN 1970s. Secondly Your right! The Rooivalk has been upgraded quite extensively since then, still doesn't change the fact that it was the only helicopter at that time able to preform a backflip. Screen Grab:
