By 4th April, the current legislatures will give way for the 8th assembly which is comprised of 26 PDP members and 0 APC members

Mr.Man, today is 21st of May.....so how can they hand over by 4th of April??

Smh.

BTW

Even if there will be no single APC lawmaker after May 29.

There is a "Back Door" option

I want him to remain for his full tenure, not because he's a great leader, but so that the people of Ekiti can appreciate the real impact of being the 2nd poorest state in the country without federal backing. Then we will see what they appreciate between capital infrastructure and stomach infrastructure, that's even if he can sustain his stomach infrastructure policy sef
Lesson: quality leadership is not about eating roadside boole and eepa, or driving a vintage Mercedes
And what is the infrastructure Fayemi gave Ekiti? Governor's lodge, Civic center and planting of flower for which Ekiti is now in debt, debt that cannot be paid back by the so called infrastructure. Abeg that is not d kind of infrastructure Ekiti want. Even if Fayose does not perform, Fayemi will not be missed bc he took Ekiti into debt that his successor will have d burden of paying for many years.

"Federal backing" indeed. If you think that FG, under Buhari will carry the APC states at his back, you need to think again. Buhari is a conservative...who will not go about sharing money to APC state Governors with the present economic situation.
If Osun, Ogun,Oyo etc did not collaps as an opposition states, why would Ekiti collaps as an opposion?

You guys are becoming silly with this your idea of buhari will jail this, sack his opponent as if we are in the jungle. What if fayose says buhari is a dullard and so what? Fayose was elected like buhari was elected. If you guys encourage your bihari to toe the line of jail everybody because they opposed you, impeach them cos they called you names, close AIT because they didn't support you, he won't even last one year so don't be silly
ZeezaRapture:

you again.
Okay let's do a little analysis here..

The case has been shifted to 4th of June, so i ask you a question..

Who will be the President by '4th of June'??

General Muhammadu Buhari

The same man Fayose said he would die in power.

The same man Fayose said he wears pampers

The same man Fayose said he is too old to rule Nigeria

The same man Fayose called a puppet.

In a nutshell,

Fayose's chance of getting impeached has just increased from 100% to 110%

The state is the second poorest and he pays workers salaries when due and no backlogged of salaries why most states find it difficult to pay salaries even the Aregeshola"s and his change agents with some PDP states guilty of same thing. You needs political tolerance.. The people of Ekiti has shown time without numbers that they love Fayose and the will of the people is the will of God.
Time to let the will of the people prevail or anarchy is fast approching to the state..

Thank you for telling the APC e-rat o jare!
Even Amaechi with almost N500 billion annual budget is also owing salary for workers, pensions for dying old men and even remuneration for lawmakers shocked

BTW, was there federal backing for useless Fayemi when he was buying bed for N500 million and NOT paying bursaries for many years

It is the vindictive nature of the steerers of APC that still makes the case for Fayose's impeachment.

Left for the people of Ekiti state, they would have left the sleeping dog lie - they would have ignored whatever it was that transpired before - so long as it was not embezzlement of the state's money. Then wait for Fayose next election.

But Fayose was believed by APC steerers to have insulted Buhari - therefore Fayose for them must not be pardoned.

When would they leave fayose alone?

What did Fayose do, Pls.

Is he not from Ekiti state? Even if he is not, is he not a Nigerian? is he not qualified to be a state governor?

Why continue to make the state go under because Fayose stepped on the toes of one or two powerful APC lords?

Fact. The good people of Ekiti State love Fayose. To impeach Fayose, the people of Ekiti State must be impeached first.

The problem with saTANist like you is that you chose to ignore when Jonathan was impeaching Nyako and Ondo deputy. You are about to be paid the same coin and you can't still smell it right in front of your nose. Anyhow you chose to look at it, from whatever perspective you can be rest assured Obasanjo and Tinubu political wit would ensure Fayose does not complete four years. Buhari does not have to do a thing.
