This complex will be in billions. Maybe the paper meant 3b Naira instead of 300m Naira. Some Journalists not good with figures!
I guess the journalist would state the official figure given to him, or maybe its simply 300million but we find it hard to believe cos we're used to big figures with which they use to dupe us.

The Lower Niger just missed a massive opportunity by a hair strand.

Uyo has been upgraded and positioned the next economic hub in West Africa. Akpabio succeded in putting up all major infrastructures required for a thriving metropolis..... and just one more thing was required......... sign the Ibaka seaport project and concession and Akwaibom would have taken Africa by storm.

GEJ was playing it cool not to offend the west

that fool got what he deserved. the only people who stood by him, he ignored till the end. He didnt even do anything for his home state. Just watch and see how Mallam Buhari will do things for his people up north and wont give a damn. Don't be surprised to see special funds for special states up north.
and nobody will talk. . . . not even amechi.

How can that complex be only N300 million? Illiterate journalism.

I was extremely surprised to see 300 million naira as well, that's about £1 million pounds for that complex which in simple words is not that expensive, but it's Nigeria anything is possible.

Are Nigerians this gullible? Who told them that Akpabio built the mall? That mall was built by an independent company called tropical probably owned by lebanese or in partnership with another Nigerian. Akpabio was just granted the honours to open it. Of course Akpabio must of allowed them the access to take that much of plots of land. But it wasn't by the govt. the mall is built to take away your hard earned money and to kill your small farms and the central market of the region.
