What do you think are the highlights of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration? |

Economic experts have repeatedly called for a diversification of the country’s economy. Do you think Jonathan’s government has done enough in the agricultural sector to reduce the country’s reliance on crude oil? http://www.punchng.com/politics/crossfire/history-will-not-favour-jonathan-junaid-mohammed/

I don’t see him being favourably considered by history. But as far as I am concerned, he is already history. He will be remembered as the man who messed up security, the first president to be defeated in a reasonably free and fair election, and one whose government is the worst in terms of corruption. He was right on this point..... Under GEJ the nation was almost divided BTW religion, security, favourism and corruption A case study of the fuel crisis that nearly cripple this nation 5 Likes |

so true If you look carefully, you will notice that the movers and shakers of the national economy are Igbos, and not because they are the best or the brightest, but simply because they could not find Ijaw people. Now that this so-called Coordinating Minister of the Economy has driven the economy into a ditch, we are being confronted with watch as some people will come out and start throwing tantrums at this man because he simply said the bitter truth, of course the truth they say is very bitter. A geographer heading a nation's finance and economy sector, only in Nigeria will this kinda nonsense happen. Oopz; I have even forgotten that a zoologist is the president of human beings. And then why won't he run the nation like an animal kingdom ![]() A zoologist + geographer leading a country = total disaster. I think buhari should employ jonathan as the caretaker of his 150 famous cows. ![]() 2 Likes |

dre11:Guy na only you wan comment for your thread. *modified* I will suggest we erase this administration from our history. If the upcoming generation should ask, we would say we had a president during that period. |

Xetima:buhari went to the best military schools in the world. And what he achieved in a short period as HOS is something your otuoke savior couldn't achieved in six years as a failed president. |

Few questions for junaid. Who were the ministers of finance, petroleum, national planning and governor of Central bank , chief of Army staff, national security adviser during yaradua tenure. When did the economy hit the ditch was it during the Jonathan tenure or during the unfortunate reign of Abacha, babangida. If you classify igbos as not academically better than both northern and South West graduates, how come igbos need to score so much to gain admission into federal schools based on the statistics released. How come state quota, federal character has been put in place to encourage nepotism. If Jonathan has put mainly igbos into the economic circle and it is anything but annoying how come the colonisation of the inept and corrupt judicial arm of government by the north has not made any meaning to you. How about the domination of the military hierarchy but northerners who don't even have the basic certificates for more than 40 years. In summary junaid should first remove the electric pole in his own eyes before removing straw from Jonathan eyes 3 Likes |

GEJ was a punishment for a collective sin. We have to now thank God and congratulate ourselves that we have served out the punishment by getting rid of the worst president in our nation's history. |

History should never will. The man is a monumental mistake foistered on Nigeria by a leader who in his belief he was d most knowledgeable man, imposed a sick leader on us and in d process accidentally gave us a modern day unparalled dunce. As if that wasn't enough,we also had to endure d wife that was an uneducated illiterate. |

l leave him to History as time would give us a clearer insight into his Presidency and we would be convinced if it was plus or minus to our development. |

How can history favour a drunkard? Whether he conceded defeat or not there is no way he can continue leading Nigeria after losing an election |
Re: History Will Not Favour Jonathan — Junaid Mohammed by Gbawe: 9:30am On May 24, 2015 |
This is why I personally stated that GEJ is the last accidental President we will ever have in Nigeria. Many influential kingmakers and stakeholders, to include those who supported GEJ to power in 2011, have seen that OBJ-style imposition is a very dangerous thing for Nigeria as it might propel into the Nigerian Presidency an individual who is not at all fit to be President and may tend to be grossly irresponsible, callous, immoral, self-serving and destructive. This is precisely what happened with GEJ. Had GEJ not lost then we can confidently predict, with all that is coming now and all that will be revealed after May 29, that Nigeria will be worse than Somalia by 2017. It will be very difficult to repair and reposition Nigeria but I believe it can be done if we all brace up for the personal sacrifices to be made. I am simply glad Jonathan is gone and I am confident lessons have been learnt meaning we will never ever see his kind again. A man did not even want the responsibility of owning a 4x4 wood shack yet you insist, against simple logic, on giving him a big, rambling and luxurious mansion. Why then be surprised if he has totally destroyed that mansion in 4 years? Whereas if the mansion had been given to someone who is house-proud and loves every inch of his home to be immaculate then you will probably find the mansion much better off after 4 years in the care of this person. Nigerians, especially the influential kingmakers and leaders, have learnt this lesson. Even painfully in some cases. Jonathan has totally destroyed Nigeria. There is not a single sector that is sound under him. All those who supported him should hang their head in shame. 3 Likes |

This man is a joke. His mates went to the brightest schools in USA and UK to study medicine and he had to go to Russia cos of his low intellect. All he said was gibberish and he is full of hate. GEJ stands tall and bowed out when the ovation was loud. |

abduljabbar4: Better. Let us be careful with words we use publicly even if we have the power of anonymity working in our favour. We have no personal proof GEJ is a drunkard but we can all 100% attest to the fact he is a hideous misruler. Simply one of the worst, if not the worst President/head of State Nigeria has ever know since she became independent. |

For example, if you appoint an Inspector-General of Police for the purpose of manipulating elections, that is corruption just like him telling the inspector of police to change the head of police in Rivers state during the governorship election since he see that the one posted there won't do the bidding of PDP and power to be |
